I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but I was genuinely disappointed with my experience here. I brought in my partner’s engagement ring for a hand engraving. Aaron was nice and helpful in guiding me through the process, understood I needed it by a specific date, and got the ring back to me fairly quickly. but the final result was noticeably crooked.

When I pointed it out to the person who took my payment, he offered no solution, leaving me upset about a mistake on such an important piece. After collecting myself, I returned to ask about fixing it. Aaron kindly offered a free laser engraving, but the same employee that took my payment helped me again and seemed annoyed that I had come back in. He did not offer font options, did not ask me to write what I wanted on an order form like the first time, he didn’t even ask what I wanted. I asked him if it would be the same type of style and he said yes. so I assumed it would match or be similar to the original cursive style I chose.

I never received a call or text when it was ready the second time. Engagement rings are often time sensitive and I had expressed that this was the case for me. when I picked it up again, the engraving was straight but in a completely different font, nothing close to being cursive. Just a regular type font. When I brought it up, Aaron admitted he “didn’t pay attention to the font style.” That was the end of it. At this point I was so sad and frustrated I just left with my ring, and am now looking for a different place to urgently fix it.

This was supposed to be an easy, exciting and happy experience on a very meaningful item, but was the complete opposite. Although the engraving was decently priced, I feel like I wasted money on something I did not want, and now potentially risk weakening my partners ring because I have to do yet...

I went to Dustin, their Jeweler & goldsmith with a project of making 4 sets of custom earrings from 2 different sets of heirloom pearls. After getting prices from 5 other places locally, not only did they beat the price by over $300, they were the only place that truly understood what I was looking for. The owner sat down with me and sorted out the pearls, ensuring each person got the correct heirloom pearl set from the correct person. Together, we arranged them into how they would look. In the end, they turned out simply beautifully. I got consistent updates along the way. They kept my precious pearls safe too. I had such a perfect experience. I have purchased earrings and a necklace from Aaron. My wife loves them. I inquired about getting rings resized at that time as well. Aaron let me know he would happily take care of it

When getting the rings resized, we ran into a few delays and a miscommunication. Normally this is where the review goes poorly and beats up on the business.

I'm not proud to say that I went in to raise hell and figure out what was going on. I felt like I the consumer had been wronged.

Aaron was very professional in handling the situation and worked hard to find a solution. He is an upstanding Jeweler and is worth trusting your most valuable items with. You can trust that he will do anything in his ability to maintain a positive relationship and ensure you feel good about doing business with him. Would recommend to friends and family.
