Worst experience ever, I stupidly decided to stop at that location to get a hamburger, what a gosh darn mistake that was,. All the signs said open therefore I went in, then i was told that the lobby was closed and that their registers were closed and that only the drive thru was open, so i ask if my order could be taken and i could take to go, again the same female said that they could not because their registers were closed, i ask if I needed to go out and walk on the drive thru so my order would be taken, and the same woman said yessss,. I went to the drive thru menu, and I was ignored finally the drive thru cashier took my order at that point i was extremely frustrated and disappointed with all of that, when I went to the window to take my order, I ask if it was too hard for them to originally had just charged me on the he drive thru register, and since their work area is all connected the why was that so hard, immediately i got an smug answer to that "THE LOBBY IS CLOSED" to Wich I reply: the door was open the open signs are on the business hours says they it should be open and that finally i was not trying to eat inside I was try to take it to go and that anyone with half of a brain would just had charge me for the items, even if I waited outside that would be ok, but noooooo, o had to go thru all of that thanks to the moronic attitude of some supper bright employees,
They get one star only because of the good hamburgers, their customer service needs extreme improvement, it should be required for all the cashier's to put on an oxygen mask so that way their neurons would activate for them to go from total moron to maybe a somewhat moron.

Read moreI’ve been going to this Apollo for years and the staff were always attentive and the service was always quick. But not anymore, this is the 2nd time I’ve been there and the gal Maria who was working the window was very unprofessional and rude. After attempting to order from the drive up speaker she just told me to pull to the window, I was thinking the microphone wasn’t properly working so no big deal. I place my order and she continuously interrupts me, sighing and when I asked her to confirm my order she just keeps repeating my total. So I say fine and hand her my card and pay as the total sounds about right for what I ordered. She hands me back my card at which point I ask for a copy of the receipt. She responds by telling me to pull around to the front, I ask again and she just waves her hand telling me to go before shutting the window. I sat out from with 3 other cars for almost 15 minutes before she comes out and hands me a bag, I ask if it is all there and she just stares at me. I look and I am missing some items and ask if I could get them as I have paid for them, she asked for the receipt and I tell her she never gave me one. Once again she sighs and goes back inside. She comes back out and tells me I never paid for the additional items only my Apollo burger combo, I show her the pending transaction and the price of a combo and she tells me “Sorry, just combo.” And walks away. Read moreI like Apollo Burger a lot, i had the Athenian today and it was super tasty... This is the second location I've eaten at & the quality was super consistent. I won't be eating with the national chains with such a great local option, Good Job guys 😁😁😁

So, that was the review I left last year. I really do enjoy supporting local restaurants, but tonites experience was ridiculous. After a long day of work, my wife and I decided to spend our money with Apollo Burger at 33rd south. They are literally 1.8 miles from our home, so it was a good option, however the drive thru experiences have been very lackluster. After waiting about 15 minutes after ordering, we finally got our food. A Tangy Bacon & Bleu Cheeseburger, a regular Cheeseburger & an order of Sweet Potato Fries. I've worked in the restaurant business for a few & know that it took way longer than it should have. Our food was sitting in the window getting cold, I'm pretty sure the car in front of us had cold dead food also. Not to mention the guy working the fryer with no gloves bare handing ready to each food. After getting home and seeing the temp of our food my wife talked to a shift manager & offered to rebook the Fries but didn't address the cold burgers.
