Upon arrival I was greeted at the door by a sales representative and his name was Allen. He seemed very uptight and cranky and certainly rude. I asked him if he could read the numbers on my phone as he misdialed the number I gave him. He snapped back very rude and loud that he was listening to me. What a very unprofessional attitude. If wasn’t for customers like me he would probably be at home. This person (Allen) is not a good representative for this company. I told him before departing the store that they would get a negative review because of him. He said that was fine. He offered no apology at all. Perhaps it’s time for this man to retire. He doesn’t need to be facing the public with his negative attitude. I’m sure the rest of the staff is fine. My first business with this store and glad to get the items I got. This is an example of the 10 % rule. In a basket of apples there is always the bad 10 % that needs culled out. I have over 30 years of federal service and I will not allow someone to talk to me like a bum off the street. To get respect you need to show respect. Read moreWould give more if possible. I called in 5 min before closing time today looking for a single 100ohm in line resistor. Jeff--I believe was his name--not only answered, but immediately informed me that he had as many as I wanted at 10c each. I was thrilled until I realized I was at least 20 min away and they closed in less than 5 min. Long story short he put 2 of them in a sealed and labeled bag and left them next to the door for me. I told him I'd leave a few dollars and he said no worries man. So to whomever gave this place one star and mentioned something about ridiculous prices...I'd assume he was just having a bad day and took it out on these guys. He can continue to shop on Ebay...I for one would recommend this place to anyone. Top notch...pay it forward. Thanks again for excellent service--I'm truly thankful you guys...
Read moreThese guys are incredible! We had an incident with an older piece of dental equipment where the pins in the connector for a foot control had bent and broken. The equipment was fairly old and I could not get the new part to replace the broken one without buying used equipment at a very high price. I had a friend tell me to take it over to these guys and have them look to see if anything could be done. Robert took a look and was straight forward with me that it could potentially be fixed, but it would be a difficult job. It was completely worth it to have him try. It turns out that Robert is a true wizard and was able to repair the equipment and literally saved me thousands of dollars. I highly recommend the folks at Standard Supply Electronics...they know...
