WORST, WORST KOREAN FOODS PLACE EVER! My recent trip to K-Recipe was a complete disaster. Finding basic Korean cooking essentials was a scavenger hunt, as many items were either outdated or simply unavailable to eat. The Korean lady staff was indifferent and unhelpful, unable to assist with inquiries or provide any semblance of customer service. Prices were shockingly high for the dismal quality on display.
Save yourself the headache and steer clear of K-Recipe. On the other hand, Seoul Market at 4500 S State Street, offers a vastly superior experience. Their prices are more affordable and their product quality is exceptional. They maintain a well-stocked inventory with fresh ingredients which is make every morning, and their staff is knowledgeable and eager to assist. Don't waste your time or money at K-Recipe when Seoul Market provides better value and superior service...

I thought at first, the prices seemed a bit high, but after eating everything, I no longer think that. I think everything was reasonably priced.
It is a grab and go place, which I am not used to - but I like the idea. I now can see me stopping in more frequently after work or on busy days when I don't want to cook. I would recommend everyone try it out - even if you are not familiar...
Read moreMy brother told me I had to stop by K-Recipe for their Kimchi & Ham Fried Rice and I’m glad we did! The sweet cashier girl was so helpful and kind. When we arrived they were out of the Kimchi & Ham Fried Rice but she asked the cook if she could make more and she kindly agreed and told us it would be a 10 minute wait. It came out hot and fresh in take home containers. I love the concept of this grab and go shop with so many authentic Korean foods to choose from packaged and ready to go! Excited to stop by again and try other dishes. Was very impressed with the kind and fast customer service. These are the kind of local shops that I’ll gladly give my...
