If I could give this Cold Stone location zero stars I would, every other location I’ve been to has been great but the park city location is AWFUL, there were 4 young guys working, we waited an hour to even get up to order, yes an HOUR. One of the boys was in the back the whole time cleaning and I’m assuming doing dishes and walked up a couple times just to take a phone order and then continued to clean in the back even though there was a line out the door and he was on his phone in the back as well. I’ve worked in food before and if there is a line that long you wait to clean till the line is gone, that is just common sense, you always put the customer FIRST, not getting out quicker. Also on that note there were multiple phone orders taken which took up so much time from taking orders from the people who are already there in the store waiting to order. What they should have done is tell the people on the phone that people in the store already waiting take priority and if they want something they will have to come in and wait in line, that is again common sense when you have that long of a line. People waiting to order in the store always take priority over phone orders. Another thing I noticed was they had brought out a couple tins of ice cream since the ones in the front were empty but they didn’t switch them out so they just sat on the counter out in the open MELTING, I was gonna get one of the flavors that was sitting out but it was melting so much I didn’t order that flavor. Worst experience at any food place I’ve ever been to. I will never be coming back to...
Read moreAh, the 4th of July. Fireworks, freedom, and apparently… frozen regret. We stopped by Cold Stone to treat ourselves to a patriotic scoop of happiness, but what we got instead was a sticky scoop of sadness with a side of chaos. First of all, we waited in line longer than the American Revolution lasted. When we finally did, we were greeted by a teenager who looked like they were one sprinkle away from a mental breakdown. (Honestly, I don’t blame them.) We ordered what we thought was a simple concoction of chocolate ice cream with cookie dough. What we got was a lukewarm soup of questionable consistency that looked like it lost the will to live somewhere between the waffle cone station and the toppings bar. It was like our ice cream had watched the fireworks too early and gave up. When we asked the teenager why the ice cream looked like soup he casually mentioned someone had left it out to melt.
In conclusion, if you want overpriced, under-frozen ice cream served with a hint of existential dread, Cold Stone’s in Park City got you covered. But next year, I’m celebrating with a popsicle and peace of mind. God bless America… and Godspeed to whoever orders from...
Read moreThought we'd treat ourselves to some nice ice cream for a fun night out and we ended up leaving pretty disappointed. The three teenagers working were pretty uninterested in helping us and the online orders took precedence. I asked for a love it of the Peanut Butter Cup Perfection and the one kid (I believe he was new to the job) doing our orders put almost nothing in it. He kept trying to read the sign on the wall because he didn't know what went in it. Then he ran out of hot fudge and wouldn't go to the back to get more. He just stood there squeezing an empty bottle and then moved on with an empty Peanut butter jar. Here's what my ice cream came out like. Barely mixed, nothing in it, and hard as a rock. I had to let it sit so I could eat it. Paid for a signature and got plain chocolate ice cream. 🙄 I ended up finding the one Peanut butter cup he added in the bottom of my ice cream, whole. Pretty disappointing. I appreciate the kid that helped us when it was busy!! But he honestly should have had someone else paying attention and giving him instruction. The other 2 associates couldn't be bothered to even look at...
