I bought almost 100.00 worth of Christmas dog toys and supplies the first week of January on sale. When I got home I decided I did not need them all. So I picked a few to return. 9 days later I took three unused toys with tags on and with receipt. The cashier told me since it was holiday merch I couldn’t return it. I asked her why because the receipt didn’t say anything about final Sale and pointed to her sign at the register (that all pet co’s have) that their merchandise is guaranteed and returnable . She then called for someone from the office to come and Talk to me and that employee said the same thing. I explained I didn’t even uses or remove the tags, I had the receipt and I bought these after the holiday and it had only been 9 days prior and there is a sign saying everything is guaranteed. She said no return. I went a few days later to a different petco and returned with no problems and no questions. Not sure what the Park City location problem is and their lack of customer service but I know I will never purchase anything from them and to be honest probably not any Petco, if they can put a sign up and print on a receipt that items are guaranteed and returnable but then some of their stores can make their own policies and not honor that but still keep a sign up saying they will...

Not only were the employees trained on how to properly care for the fish, but they do their best to make sure that the animals are only going to the best homes possible. They had signs up on the nitrogen cycle, and on how large some of the fish that they sell get, which is awesome! I've never seen that at a petco before. The tanks were all super clean and organized according to fish that can live together. The betta cups were marked with what I assume is the day they came in to the store. There were also some surrendered goldfish that they are taking care of while they try to find them a new home, as they sadly outgrew the previous owners tank.
If this petco refused to sell you fish, there is probably a good reason why. It doesn't really matter how long you've owned fish in the past or how much money you've spent on a setup, if you don't have the skills needed to take care of these live animals, this amazing team will make sure that you are properly equipped with those skills before you bring home any new...
Read moreGrooming - dog was CUT IN TWO PLACES, nicked under the leg and bleeding. Also bleeding from where the groomer had cut the nail quick. I would have expected a note to be captured on this and that I would have been informed on picking up my dog. Instead I was not told but was advised my dog had done great. It was only on walking to pick up dog food in the store that a trainer who leant down to pet her saw the bleeding paw and then also pointed out the other cut (he was great as were the front desk team - empathetic). They telephoned the manager from what I could hear he did not have the same attitude. I was advised this manager would call me today but still waiting. Grooming that resulted in two cuts must mean inexperienced groomers so I would highly warn against grooming at this store.
