Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in South Union Township

I honestly would not even give this place one star if it was up to me. This will be long but so was our visit and my husband never got to eat! It took our waitress 10 min after walking back and forth past us to say a word to us she took only our drink orders it took her about 5 min to get our drinks...that didn't bother me she looked new...but she didn't give us straws she walked past us refilling other people's drinks for 10 min before getting our straws...came back gave them to us immediately walked away when we were ready to order our app. So after waiting for a little while she comes back we order our app chips and the skillet queso. Well she brings us chips with no queso and said it will just be a min or two on the queso...we waited 15 min for queso our chips were gone by that point. She STILL hasn't taken our meal orders so we wait and wait other people whose came in after us has already gotten their food me and my husband just look at each other like really? Well she finally takes our meal orders. We sat there well over a hour before our meals came out when they did mine was big mouth bites burgers it was cold and my husband ordered a regular burger but the burger was made completly wrong so after the manager apologies BEFORE our order came I ask to speak to him again. We explained why my husband's order was wrong (he ordered a plain burger they put everything on it and the egg that came on it was undercooked) he again apologized and took the burger back to remake it well the waitress came back with the remade burger IT WAS UNDER COOKED VERY VERY PINK AND NASTY. After speaking with the manager a 3rd time my husband didn't even want them to fix the burger he didn't want to eat after all this. The manager did pay for the entire order and we left my husband worked all day hard labor work at a coal mine all he wanted to do was sit down have a nice dinner with his wife after wasting 2 hours of our time and stressing us out my husband left hungry to drive a hour home and get mcdonalds on the way. Also the waitress came back and made excuses why things were messed up saying she was new the kitchen will no listen to hwr when she puts a order in and seriously told us "I do not know when your food will be made" WHAT ARE YOU FOR REAL?!?! THIS IS AFTER WAITING OVER A HOUR!!!! even though the manager paid for the meal because we had so so much of a run around and such a bad experience AND my husband couldn't eat after the run around they gave him he had stomach pains from the stress fr them we will NOT ever be going back to chillis. I went to chillis in morgantown wv many times always a good experience but this has completey ruined it for me and my husband as well. Honestly if your in the area and want a good meal and good service...applebees right down the road...been there many times good fast fresh service once issue once burger was way undercooked but they fixed it and...

Not a fan, mainly because of poor service and getting orders incorrect and on every visit. We've been there at least 5 times plus tried the pick up service. When we received the wrong food for pick up, we finally spoke to the manager. We were trying to give them a chance since they were new, but after 6 screw ups of wrong food and overcharges, we couldn't be silent anymore. The manager promised a refund to our card and took our name and address stating that gift cards would be mailed also. That was over 6 months ago and we still have not received anything that was promised, so we've never went back and probably won't return. They are pricey and the atmosphere is noisey, even when they are not busy, it's weird. It's also darkened, we've been there day and night and heard many others complaining of the same issues listed here. The food is not terrible but there's lots of room for improvement. The chips and cheesecake are very good and I recommend them. I doubt we'll go back unless it's with others who want to go. Just too expensive and too much trouble. The one time we were charged for 6 slices of cheesecake when trying to order one and use their coupon for one free slice! Took almost an hour to get our bill adjusted. Awful, just awful. I'm wishing there was a lower score than one star. I've never been a big fan of Chili's, but friends wanted to go so I joined them. All of our meals were sub par. I ordered a cheeseburger. I thought it was the safe choice. I was wrong. I'm not sure how a restaurant could screw up a simple cheeseburger, but this Chili's screwed it up big time. The burger was mushy inside and chard on the outside. The consistency was more like potted meat than ground beef, and was completely inedible. There was so much grease on my plate, that it completely saturated the bottom bun to the point that I couldn't even pick it up. Everything else on the plate was also soaked in it. I thought I'd use a knife and fork, so I cut the burger in half and the inside even looked mushy and almost grey. Seriously gross. There is a reason that the parking lot is usually pretty empty there. This place is not worth the effort. The wait staff were all nice enough, but the food is nasty. Don't waste your money or your time. Sorry Chili's, but you need to step it way up if you want the locals to spend their hard earned money on you.
