The Bagel Nook — Restaurant in Southaven

I’ve visited The Bagel Nook twice now for mobile pick-up orders, and while the food has potential, the service for to-go orders needs serious improvement.

My first visit was at 1:10 PM, and my order wasn’t ready until 1:25. It was busy, so I gave them a pass. The breakfast sandwich I had was really good, but my wife’s chicken salad and the potatoes weren’t great.

I gave them another shot today with a mobile order estimated for 10:20 AM. I got there on time and let them know. One of the employees asked for my pick-up time, said she’d go check, and never came back. Meanwhile, people ordering in line were getting their food before I did. At 10:45, I asked again and was told my order had been sitting there—which meant our food was cold. To top it off, they forgot one of our bagels.

I get that it was packed, but they’ve got to do a better job managing mobile orders. Long waits, lack of communication, and missing items really hurt the experience. The food can be solid, but the poor service makes it hard to...

I was in the Bagle Nook in Southaven, MS today. The service was TERRIBLE and the girl waiting on me was simply outright rude. I was the only order and waited 15 minutes for a reuben. When I ordered, she said what kind of bagle, and I said a reuben comes on rye bread - and she said we don't carry rye bread (even though that is what the menu says). So....I got it on a pumpernickle bagle. When I finally got my order after I asked about it's status 3x, I left and went home. Not one time did she say Thank you. My bagle had been nuked in the microwave for so long that it was hard on the outside and soggy wet on the inside with the paper glued to it and the corned beef crispy brown. It had 0% flavor from any of the ingredients. It was TERRIBLE and I sincerely could not eat it. The girl with the dyed red hair in a pony tail has no business working in a customer facing establishment. I eat out 4-5 times a week and I promise you that I will not return. That was $15 wasted...

We drove 30 minutes to try this place out after seeing posts about it online and it was really disappointing. We were able to place our order pretty quickly, but waited about 40 minutes in the crowded entrance for our food. I should have checked the contents prior to leaving, but I was ready to get out of there. When I opened the boxes in the car, the sandwiches were a nasty mess. We ordered 2 bacon, egg and cheese bagels with cream cheese and we received one with no meat, neither had sliced cheese and each sandwich had probably close to 1/2 cup of cream cheese that was all over the container. The sandwiches weren’t wrapped up as is shown in most of the pictures and it looked like they were thrown together while in the to go boxes so all of the contents including the eggs were loose in the box.
