Magnolia Soap & Bath Co. - Southaven — Local services in Southaven

I was super stoked to receive a plethora of Magnolia products for my birthday last week as I have been meaning to check the store out. The gift box contained a variety of soaps, moisturizers, and face products. EVERY item is awesome, smells AMAZING, and will be repeatedly bought! My husband and I have been using the body and face soaps daily (many times multiple times a day) for the past 8 days and based on the fact that the edges of the bars have barely started to curve, I'd say the bars will last a good 2 months or more. The MVP is the Liquid Gold Facial Serum. It smells so, so good like an aromatherapy session and makes my face look clean, fresh and youthful! An honorable mention goes to the shave soap. I didn't have high expectations as I'm a daily shaver and would never normally consider shaving with soap. I was pleasantly surprised to get a smooth, close shave, no razor burn, and the soap lathers so well I can see where I've already shaved. Considering once the soap melts there is no waste, I'm sold on the shave soap! Magnolia is good for my body and soul and the environment, as well! Every day has been a spa day...

I've been to this location several times trying to give them a chance and the same thing happens over and over again with the same person.

I walk in on Saturday, August 20, 2022 around noon with my laundry detergent containers to be refilled. I'm a veteran at how this works so I walk up to the counter to be waited on and the middle aged Caucasian lady, early 40's, short, with hair pulled in a ponytail tells me someone will be with me(voice tone was not pleasant). Mind you she wasn't with a customer, so I waited and waited until the other associate came to assist. I will keep going to the Germantown location where they're nicer, they interact, and are friendly.

I love Mr Dean and know this is one of his locations but I will be sticking with his Germantown location from now...

I received a text mid-morning on Friday, 5/26 (Memorial Day Weekend) that beard oil was BOGO 1/2 off "all weekend." I had to work all weekend and spent my free time Saturday at the doctor and pharmacy, so I went to Magnolia Soap SH on Sunday, not knowing they .would be closed. Then I called Monday just before 11:30 am to see if Memorial day might count as part of the weekend, but it didn't. She let me know everything in the store was 20% off "all day." So we went to lunch and to the store that was closed at 3pm with a small handwritten note on the door. Couldn't she have told me they were closing early so I wouldn't make the drive or know to hurry??? My daughter is in Army training and wanted me to get that for her to give as a gift. 😞 Lots of...
