BJ’s, the AT&T reps in your store are misrepresenting the product they’re selling. The plan does not pan out as explained leaving the Corporate AT&T store in Aberdeen to deal with angry customer fallout. My family lost a tremendous amount of value by switching carriers due to misinformation on the AT&T deal that was poorly explained to us. What was supposed to create value and add cost savings resulted in loss of value due to losing T-Mobile’s partnerships I.e., Netflix, Free in flight texting/messaging/Wifi, device protection extending beyond break/fix replacement, dedicated customer support etc.. Now in order to fix this mess that locked us into a 3 year contract I have to spend hundreds of dollars out of pocket expenses. I would advise anyone who reads this to steer clear of the reps as they are not trained proficiently enough to sell AT&Ts service. They will say anything to close a deal and make a sale.
Update: As of May 28,2025 my bill is still a higher than it was with T-Mobile. I was paying $225 under the T-Mobile Military One Plan, now my bill is $258 in June, and $278 starting in July. The Sales Rep completely deceived us as I’m also making installment payments on devices that were supposed to be free. He showed us on the tablet a monthly payment of $175 which would’ve saved us money. This has to be cause for a Class Action Lawsuit as I’m hearing numerous...
Read moreI recently visited the new BJ’s Wholesale Club in Southern Pines, and I was genuinely impressed. The store is exceptionally clean and well-organized, making it easy to find what I needed without feeling overwhelmed. The layout is intuitive, and the spacious aisles contribute to a comfortable shopping experience.
What stood out to me was the variety of products available—from fresh produce and bakery items to household essentials and electronics—all at competitive prices. The addition of a gas station on-site is a convenient bonus, especially with the potential for extra savings through their Fuel Saver Program.
I also appreciate the store’s commitment to the community. Partnering with local organizations like the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina to donate unsold food items shows a dedication to giving back.
Plus — with the current egg shortage, i was pleasantly surprised to see shelves stocked with good quality eggs!
Overall, the new BJ’s in Southern Pines offers a pleasant shopping environment with a wide selection of products and thoughtful community involvement. Highly...
Read moreA few of the products I wanted had packages already open. I had to be careful not to grab an already ripped open product. Another issue I had was the cashier. I had my membership card scanned, and was loading my last few items onto the belt. I didn't realize there was a question on the credit card machine screen, and that my order could not be processed/scanned until I answered it. The cashier (obviously annoyed)proceeded to let me know that I needed to answer the question, and then obnoxiously tapped her nails on the screen. Just rude. I didn't take ages at any stage of this process. I try to be as quick and efficient as possible to help. Treating me like a child on my first visit leaves me willing to make the long trek to the Fayetteville BJ's. The gentleman checking receipts on my way out was the best part of my entire experience. He was kind and...
