Eggsquisite Cafe Southlake — Restaurant in Southlake

When I see a restaurant rated #1 on Yelp I love to see if it is true. For breakfast, Eggsquisite Cafe is amazing. Equal with the top 3 breakfast experiences ever all time.

The restaurant is very clean. My omelette was amazing. All fresh ingredients. I like spicy omelettes and most restaurants use canned/jarred Jalapeño, but these folks use fresh Jalapeño. That is just one example as all the vegetables were fresh. The roasted red bell pepper is super tasty. The salsa is homemade and vastly superior to the the branded jars (also available).

For fruit they offer 2 options; assorted melon or assorted fresh berries. The berries were very fresh with great flavor.

The Orange Juice is freshly squeezed (see photo) and you can see exactly the quality of oranges going into the juicer machine.

Now onto service. For people who try to have this food delivered or pickup you are making a very big mistake as the service is off the charts great. Anthony was our primary server and that guy has it all (great personality and desire to make the guest experience the best possible). He was amazing. Started with a latte but at his suggestion converted to their premium coffee. So many breakfast restaurants make the mistake of serving average or below coffee, but this restaurant serves very high quality coffee. No need to stop at a coffee house to bring good coffee to the restaurant.

Right to the end Anthony was offering a coffee for the road. He was 100% on top of every detail.

It is clear the owners of this restaurant have set out to make a statement about taking care of every detail. This kind of food quality, timelines for delivery of the food and drinks and the overall service does not happen by chance. First off they have only hired team members with very high work ethic and desire to please.

I'm willing to try other restaurants in the Southlake area, but I will be shocked to find the complete package that this restaurant delivers for breakfast.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Eggsquisite Cafe in Southlake, Texas, and I must say, it was an egg-ceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere, and the friendly staff made me feel right at home.

Let's talk about the food – the omelets at Eggsquisite Cafe are nothing short of amazing. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and the variety of fillings and toppings left me spoiled for choice. It's been a while since my experience here, and I'd actually forgotten the name of the restaurant until recently, but I still remember why I walked out. I almost never leave a place before eating, but this time, I did. It was during my first and only visit.

I didn't have the same experience so many others have had. In fact, I walked out before we could eat. We were sat at a booth that was ripped in multiple places. While that was a little uncomfortable on my legs as I was wearing shorts, I was a little surprised for a restaurant that seemed so nice. I'm not even basing my score off that, it's just worth a mention for those who expect perfection - which admittedly I do not.

What I do expect, is cleanliness.

When the waitress brought is our coffees and waters, I took one look at both my coffee mug and glass and there were lipstick prints. My husband only had lipstick on his coffee cup but I had it on both. Not remnants of the lipstick oils that can be buffered out, actual red and pink lipstick on both. It was baffling this wasn't discovered before the drinks made it to our table. It was hard to believe these had been set down in front of a guest without anyone noticing. The cups looked as though they hadn't even gone through a proper wash. They looked like they'd taken them from another customer and brought them directly to us. (That's how dirty they were).
