The order delay is more than 15,17,20 minutes... The coffee is really delicious and the food, but the service is just disgusting. I visited this place two or three times a week and only online orders were ready at the right time. When you order in the store, you just see how the people standing after you receive their orders, and you are still waiting and waiting...... it happened 5 times. I waited for coffee (my only order) 15 and 17 minutes. When I take coffee and food, I am wait from 20 minutes. Why? What kind of service? Asking questions to the workers, "who sing or dance or hug, but do not do their job", I only heard "here's your order, it will be soon, wait!" Or "you're ordered coffee and food and your coffee order goes to the end of the line" what are heck? Should I not buy food now because my coffee will be at the end of the line of all the people??? Complete nonsense! I'd rather pass the extra 3 minutes and I'm perfectly, respectfully served in another place than I just 20 minutes and my coffee will be cold. And yes, it's happened twice. I was waiting, but they forgot about the order or it's more important for the girls to talk than to work and they don't care. Not to mention the fact that when ordering different things for my coffee, I often noticed that the syrup was forgotten or put a lot of espresso or again there is no whipped cream on top....
Read moreThe first time I visited Lala Land, I was genuinely impressed. I had some time to kill and was immediately struck by how beautiful the space was—bright walls, cheerful yellow accents, and a fun variety of breakfast items. They even told every customer “I love you” as they walked out, which I thought was such a sweet touch. I left that morning telling all my coworkers they had to check this place out.
A few days later, I went back—and that’s when the magic kind of wore off. The space was still just as charming, but the service was really slow. It took around 30–45 minutes to get a coffee and a muffin that had been sitting out (and was no longer warm). In hindsight, the wait was just as long the first time, but I didn’t mind then because I wasn’t in a rush.
Unfortunately, the coffee didn’t live up to expectations either—it was pretty watery. I also waited in line, only to be told I needed to place my order through the app, which felt a little inconvenient. And no one was saying “I love you” this time, which made me realize maybe that first visit was just a really good day.
All in all, Lala Land is a super cute place to visit at least once—great for the aesthetic and a fun experience to say you’ve been. But based on my experience, it’s not somewhere I’d go...
Read moreI had been wanting to try this coffee for the longest but never committed to making the drive out to Dallas, so I was very excited when I heard about this new location.
The coffee was great, the hype is very much real and definitely worth waiting in line. However, the employees were not it. The girl who took my order was extremely rude, she didn’t make me feel welcomed at all. I still decided to leave a tip because I wasn’t going to judge the rest of her peers based off her actions, but they all had that same unwelcoming vibe (except for one girly).
I did noticed the vibe being completely different towards me than with other people when I was waiting on my order. I hate saying this, but it makes me wonder if it’s because I’m Hispanic - the sad part is that some of the employees were Hispanics themselves.
The girly who was handing out the drinks at the end, was such a sweetheart, she was the only person in there that smiled at me and made me feel welcomed. Babygirl if you read this, you’re beautiful inside and out and I hope you never become the people that you work with.
As to the rest of the employees, take a step outside, take a breath of fresh air and honestly do some...
