I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Gloria's location in Southlake for the first time. I must commend the outstanding service provided by Guadalupe. From the moment I was greeted at the table in, her warm and genuine demeanor made me feel right at home. Guadalupe's attention to detail was impeccable; she anticipated my needs before I even had to ask, ensuring that my glass was always full and my plates were cleared promptly. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and her recommendations were spot-on, makin my meal even more delightful. Guadalupe’s positive attitude and professional service truly elevated the dining experience. It’s rare to come across someone who combines efficiency with such a personal touch, but Guadalupe managed it effortlessly. If you're lucky enough to have Guadalupe as your waitress, you’re in for a treat. Her dedication to making each guest feel special is truly remarkable. Thank you, Guadalupe, for making my first visit memorable—I’ll definitely be returning!

"My husband and I used to frequent Gloria’s Latin Cuisine in Colleyville and loved it, so we decided to try the Southlake location. We went on a Saturday night and, as expected, there was a long wait due to the no reservations policy on weekends (reservations are only accepted Monday to Thursday). If you have a large group and plan to visit on a weekend, arrive early to secure a table. The food and drinks were amazing, and the prices were reasonable compared to other restaurants in Southlake. The ambiance was inviting, although parking near the restaurant was difficult; however, there was plenty of parking just a two-minute walk away near the REI store. We ordered the tostadas and aquachile verde both of which tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. The complimentary chips and salsa were a nice touch, and they also offer a gluten-free menu."

I have been to this restaurant many times and really like it. But I made a to go order last time and had the worst experience ever. I ordered chicken spinach quesadilla along with few other items. When I went to pick it up, they had spinach enchiladas. So the server, Who didn’t speak at all, said nothing and took the item out and made me wait and brought another wrong item with just spinach quesadilla. When I told him it’s wrong again, he then went and topped the quesadilla with some chicken. I had asked for spicy salsa too which wasn’t included in the order. There was no attempt to compensate in anyway and by the time I got home other items were too soggy and cold and quesadilla was worse than Taco Bell. They need to at least put a server who speak enough English. Will definitely never make another to go order from this place.

I am writing to share a recent dining experience at your restaurant on 12/12/24 at 5:52 PM. We were celebrating my grandson’s 11 th birthday, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations. To begin with, we were disappointed with the quality of the food. The shredded chicken enchiladas were like “tubular” chicken enchiladas and required being cut with a knife to eat a bite. I picked the restaurant as I had eaten the same meal just two months ago and the enchiladas were excellent. My husband had never eaten there and was very unimpressed with “shredded” enchiladas as they were definitely not filled with the usual lightly shredded chicken. We were hoping for a meal that matched the reputation of you restaurant, but unfortunately that was not the case. Additionally, the service did not meet the standards we had anticipated. Our inattentive server, despite the impeccable manners of our three grandchildren (8 yrs, 11 yrs, and 12 yrs) he barely acknowledged us or our request. It was not a busy night, nor very crowded, but we feel that our experience was affected by the lack of attention and professionalism. We chose your restaurant for this special occasion because of its reputation, and I was genuinely looking forward celebrating with my family. However, given the issues we encountered, we left feeling disappointed. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration and address the concerns mentioned. We understand restaurants can have off days, but we felt this experience did not reflect the standard we had hoped for. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

To the owner: We read your response to our review and provided you with all the information you requested. I still have the receipt from the evening we dined at your restaurant. I was under the impression you were going to reach out to us. It has been over two weeks and there had not been any follow up to the information...

Everything is overpriced. I know its Latin cuisine but it may as well just be overpriced Mexican food. The Lg guac is $8+tax for what was 4 small scoops of older looking mashed avocado with diced tomatoes on top and shredded lettuce throughout. LETTUCE on guac. Ridiculous. The combo fajitas ($17+tax) meat was skimped, overloaded with onions and peppers. The a la gloria enchiladas were subpar as the shredded chicken was very bland ($15+tax). Last but not least important to note, the spinach and chicken quesadilla was mostly spinach, limited cheese and limited chicken; and also very greasy ($14+tax). On top of that, the service was subpar. Barely had any dishes bussed all nite, and I even helped organize dishes to be bussed at the end of the table, and my server, almost as an attempt to make a point, starts bussing our dishes as we are handed the bill. Overall disappointed for a Saturday night at 9pm where you'd expect the staff to be on point. Won't be coming back. I believe restaurants in our area are continuing to lower their standards because they know clueless and gutless pedestrians will continue to come back, regardless of how poor the quality of the food and service is; and refrain from making a fuss in front of their loved one or family. Frankly, it's embarrassing. Go get Frezko Taco Shop down the street, and you'll find better Mexican/Latin/w/e tf u wanna call the food, togo or dine in there. Oh, also, no beers on draft, what a joke. Can't believe there's a valet for this place. It's a 2.5 star restaurant at best. A year ago, it was about a 3.5. Funny how restaurants get worse and worse over time. Something to...

I have always enjoyed coming here. Last night (Wednesday) I had the worse experience ever for my birthday. We had a party of 8 (2 kids 6 adults) . At 7pm the restaurant was maybe half full. I had a table set for 8 people and told the young lady that I wanted to wait for the rest of my party show. She then told that me, if I did not sit at the table, I could lose that table if another big party showed. Wow, what a reception. Service started off well for the 1st 10minutes and then it went down hill from there. Our waiter never came to check on refill of chips or drinks, nor removal of small plates as the evening progressed. The time between the 2 appetizers and the meals took a very long time. Some of the plates arrived warmish, like they had been sitting in the kitchen for a while. It was not worth it to send food back as we just wanted now eat and go.

Final icing on the cake was when we were given the bill and a card was taken , we never saw our waiter again. My husband went up to the front to see what was happening and we were told our waiter had already left for the evening. Wow!

Not sure if there was a lack of staff issues but no-one came to apologize for the long waits we were experiencing. .

It will be a while...
