My family and I went to eat at outback steak house in sparks across the coconut bowl. We did not expect what we expect. Before we went to the restaurant, we check the outback menu online, we were so amazed that they have their steak looks so delicious and they have a big servings. My husband and I were so eager to eager and can't wait to get there. But..... once we were seated by the host, he greeted us on our way in with a sad face. And then here comes our waitress and she ask us if we are ready to order but first she ask what kind of drink we wanted. And then right after she took our order, she came back to us with our drinks, the way she give me my drink, she put it down on the table and pushed and slide my glass towards me on the table. I guess she couldn't reach me, I was unhappy when she did that, she could at least her tray down with the rest of the drinks. But no, didn't bother. So anyways, their food sucks, sorry to say but it's true, and so expensive as well. My son and my husband ordered a sirloin with choice of skewered grill shrimp or coconut breaded shrimp for almost $17, and I ordered a grilled salmon which was my favorite and my sons gf ordered pasta. And my son ordered an Aussie tizer, (called appetizer) in their menu. The appetizer has an 5 pieces of macaroni and cheese fried balls, fried onion strips and fries with cheese on top. Yes it was good especially when u dip in the sauces. Oh before I forgot, my hubby ordered his favorite baked potato soup. So when we started the appetizer, my hubby ask our waitress if his soup is ready and if he can have it, surprising she told my husband that, yes it was ready but she cannot give the soup to my husband unless we finish the appetizer. Hahaha, unbelievable! That's weird, they won't give your main entree unless you finish your appetizer. We were disappointed and that time my husband wasn't feeling well, that's why he needed his soup to start with. So my husband waited for us 3 to finish the appetizer and the stater to comes with bread and butter. So funny, 4 people got served with one hoagie bread to share. Yes you ask for more, unless you finish that one they gave us first. So anyways, when our main entree came, and serve, we were disappointed because the sirloin with shrimp cost us $17 per plate, and there sirloin looks so dry and cold and so freaking small. The mashed potato were so runny, and there broccoli with cheese does not look fresh. My salmon grilled was so dark and their plating was not so pretty at all. We were so devastated. We were not amazed and not happy when we left the restaurant. We just wish we went to chili instead, but that's ok, at least we friend and we found out that this place is not good and we cannot recommend to anybody. And then a few hours later at home, I feel sick, I think I got food poisoning. It took 2 hours for me to get well, and I've vomited all the food I ate from outback steak house. For 4 of us, we paid $103 something. I thought I was going to call 911. We will never go back to any outback steak house ever again, first time I went there to eat and first time I got food poisoning. Not a worth place to eat. Yuck!!! What a worst experienced and still my husband left a $20 tip to our...
Read moreThis has been our 3rd and last very poor experience. We were seated after waiting only a couple of minutes outside. Upon being seated, the table next to recieved their order, but found that they had ordered 22oz Ribeyes and only recieved 13oz Ribeyes. We waited for over 15 minutes just to get our drink order, which we had also asked for our bread, and another 10 minutes before reciving our drinks with no bread. 5 minutes after this, we recieved our bread and the waitress finally took our order. Mind you there weren't that many people in the restaurant. Salads don't arrive for another 20 minutes. No further bread, waitress seriously asked me 3 times if I would like another coke which had long since run out, confirmed it was a coke, and still did not actually bring me a coke. In the meantime, table behind us recieves their order..Ribeyes, they were also the wrong size. (At this point, hearing that the chef can't tell the difference between a boneless 13oz Ribeye and a 22oz Bone-in Ribeye we should've ran). Finally get our food, both my wife ordered the exact same steak cooked medium rare. Hers was more medium than medium-rare, and mine was so rare it had blood and wasn't even cooked enough to let the knife cut it. Waitress saw how bloody it was and asked if I wanted it cooked more to medium, I asked that it just be cooked. Came back 10 minutes later, same steak cooked to well done. The new person who brought out my now over cooked steak asked if I would like some more ranch for my fries that I had now demolished in place of my steak, and I said yes please...never did see him or the ranch he offered again. These were thin, falling apart, no marbling, poor excuse for 30$ ribeyes. I challenge the chef to come with me to our local grocery store and see how amazing a $14 cut of real ribeye looks compared to what we were served. No flavor. No waitress check in for boxes, refills, etc. We found the payment kiosk on the table behind us, paid our bill, and walked out, never even seeing our waitress again. Save your money, drive 4 more miles to my house, and for half the money I'll bbq you 3 times the ribeye with 3 times the flavor cooked to a standard meat temperature...
Read moreAlright so stellar customer service saved the day. We were on the phone with the restaurant, with a scathing review ready to submit. I’m leaving my original photos but rewriting the review itself. I ordered a French dip for dinner, because I’ve been craving one all day. This saga actually starts at Arby’s, who was out of roast beef (what the heck, right?). Still craving a French dip, we opted for Outback instead, and ordered carside. The lady running the pickup zone? Awesome! My sandwich? Abysmal. I had to go hunting for the beef, and even after attempting to distribute it more evenly, the tiny little scrap wedged between in there was powerless to compete with the cheese and mushrooms—you’d hardly notice it was there. Even my au jus felt a little light (about 1/2 inch in the bottom of the cup), but by that point I may have been nitpicky. Since I did not order or pay $15 for a weird soggy grilled cheese sandwich with onion and mushrooms, I was not impressed. We called the restaurant, and they offered us a credit or to remake it. We’re just up the road, so I went and picked it up. The manager himself apparently remade the sandwich (with extra meat), hand delivered it to my car, with his card and a couple extra goodies. In general I try really hard not to be a Karen, but I get hangry about my food, and tonight really tried my patience. Granted, my patience was already running short in supply before I’d even got to Outback tonight. I can’t leave 5 stars for the inconvenience of having to go back and get the remade sandwich, but I can at least show appreciation for a really strong show of customer service. I promise all I was after was the sandwich, but after an already trying day (not all sandwich related), the extra effort REALLY went a long way for me,...
