When I went in a couple of days ago, I was really happy when I walked in, until I waited probably a solid minute as the only person in line before anyone said hello, the people who made my pizza were friendly, the pizza looked great before it went into the oven. As I got to the cashier, she was more interested in rudely correcting a coworker on how to do their job in front of customers before ringing up the customer in front of her. After getting my pizza “for here” in a to go box, I looked around at an almost empty restaurant, and found only a couple of clean tables, and lots of employees standing behind the counter gossiping about the night before. As I sat down to enjoy my pizza, I looked around again and noticed how dirty the still almost empty restaurant was. With poorly cleaned windows well above anyone’s reach, trash on the floor under the empty trash can. The pizza itself was great, not personally my favorite pizza but I also made pizza for a few years, and just wasn’t my personal favorite, but it was still a great pizza. One of the better ones in town, which is the reason for 3 stars instead of 2. All the 40 minutes I was inside in the mid afternoon, not once did an employee go wipe down any tables, clean up the trash on the ground in front of the trash cans, but they had plenty of time to talk about what someone’s sisters boyfriend said a few days ago. I’ve worked in pizza before and totally understand how it goes when a restaurant is newly open, with new staff, and I still work in customer service, I get it, new people have to learn, and I really hope they do because they have a great potential to be a great restaurant. Hopefully they greatly improve before i give it another try in...
Read moreI have no idea why Taya (working the cash register) was rude to me. We’ve worked together in the past & I never treated her bad. So I don’t know where the attitude stemmed from.
When I started my order I asked if I could swap the mozzarella cheese for a bit of shaved parmesan & gorgonzola, the employee said yes, but as I got to the end, Taya tried charging me full price instead of the deal they had going on, because apparently what the first employee had told me at the start of the line was incorrect & the gorgonzola counts as a topping even if you substitute the regular mozzarella cheese for it. I told her this & she very snidely says she’ll do it for me this one time “to avoid the argument”. Like, excuse me? You didn’t even greet me or my child when we said hi to you & you automatically jump to “argument”?
The visit left a sour taste in my mouth, so I went to the South Meadows location right afterwards, where another employee mentioned how I was just at the Sparks store, so I’m assuming she had called to gossip & complain about me?? Highly unpleasant encounter.
The pizzas were good though! Light on the toppings as always, & one of them was cut into like 9 pieces of various sizes, but they’re fairly tasty for...
Read moreFirst time trying this pizza chain & store. I had a coupon for 1 free pizza. Pizza size is either 11" or 12". (I asked an employee, recieved this answer.) Basically a medium sized pizza. I looked at the menu online, as far as pizza options was concerned, it is BYO (Build Your Own). When I went to order in store, (which you have to do when you have a coupon.) I was told I could not get a BYO pizza. I had to get a pizza with pre selected toppings. The customers in front & behind me were able to get a BYO pizza. I was confused & little irritated. It maybe due to having a coupon. So I decided to order a second pizza so I could have the toppings I wanted. I was told I still had to choose a pizza with pre selected toppings though I was paying for the second pizza. Still confused & more irritated, I ordered 2 different pizzas. They were good pizzas, not greasy, flavorful too, just not what I was craving. I decided I will spend my money somewhere else where I can choose my own toppings &...
