Visited on 2/1/2020----- HORRIBLE
Horrible Service. Horrible Hostess. Horrible Food. Snotty Attitudes all within the store.
We arrive, 4 people total, and there is already a group of 8 waiting to be seated. Wouldn't be a problem if there was a hostess at the door, but there wasn't. There are empty tables all over the place, more than enough to sit these 8 people and definitely enough to sit my small group of 4. We stand there from 6:40pm until 7:12pm and we're finally seated. Menus and silverware are handed to us. We wait, and wait....drinks orders are never taken. I finally get the attention of the hostess and ask her if we could please get some drinks. It's now after 7:30--- we order 4 teas, and 3 alcoholic drinks. Waiting again.... it's 7:55 or so before our drinks get to us and she sits the drinks down and darts. Didn't take our food order. Now, she's disappeared but here's the shortest wait of the night, 5 or so minutes and she comes back to take our food order. We order 3 steaks, and a chicken fajita plate. Steaks ordered Medium-Rare, Rare, and Well done. So approximately 25 minutes or so later our food is brought to our table, No complaint about that wait due to the steaks being cooked.... The Medium-Rare steak is cooked SUPER RARE---the medium is cooked rare----and the well done steak is cooked correctly. We don't make a big deal of it, no problem..Until........She waitress comes over to ask how our food was and if everything was good. I say "No mam, not exactly" and I inform her of the under cooked steaks and she gets this look is disapproval across her face, like she didn't like what I said. I was respectful...but blunt. She asked if she could bring us another steak, and I politely said "No mam, we've been waiting here all night for these, and I don't want to wait again." I proceed to say, "you can give us a small discount on tonight's meal though if you want" and she replies, "I'll see what I can do"
Okay, no problem. We finish eating, and order 1 more alcoholic drink and ask for the check. The original bill was $102.37....and she took $10 off of that, making it $92. I considered that an insult. I remained respectful and asked her if she could comp any more of the total price and explained to her every aspect of how the night was...including the wait at the front door, and the wait to get our drink order taken....I explained everything and she said yes as I held my card and receipt up for her to grab..... she SNATCHED the receipt out of my hand like a total btch... Brought me a receipt back and knocked $10 more off of it and asked in a snobby voice "is that better for you" and I said, "Yes mam, it is, but if you wanna give us the meal for free, that'd be nice too"...jokingly of course. Being a dck, without actually being a d*ck. She looked at me with this evil look and sideways grin....said nothing else. Left the minimum tip that I could morally do, and went on about our night.

Kool Aid's attentiveness was truly remarkable. He demonstrated an exceptional ability to anticipate our needs, ensuring that we had everything we required without having to ask. From promptly refilling our drinks to promptly delivering our orders, he consistently provided a high level of attentiveness and efficiency.
What truly impressed me was Kool Aid's dedication to accommodating our special requests. He attentively listened to our dietary preferences and ensured that our orders were tailored accordingly. Moreover, he went above and beyond by consulting with the manager to secure the best possible deal for us. This level of commitment and initiative truly made our dining experience at Applebee's feel unique and personalized.
Additionally, Kool Aid's sense of humor added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal. He effortlessly engaged with our table, offering light-hearted banter and creating a genuinely enjoyable atmosphere. His ability to balance professionalism with a friendly demeanor was truly commendable and contributed greatly to our overall satisfaction.
While Applebee's may have multiple locations across the nation, Kool Aid's exceptional service made this particular visit truly special. His attention to detail, willingness to accommodate special requests, and delightful personality elevated our dining experience and left a lasting impression.
I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Kool Aid for going above and beyond to ensure our dining experience at Applebee's was memorable. Read moreI had the WORST experience at this Applebee’s. I had just went to see a movie on a triple date with some friends. First of all, as soon as we arrived the hostess refused to seat us and sat 2 other couples before she would seat us. Then as soon as we are finally seated we are approached by a male manager in a green shirt. He VERY aggressively tells us that we have been accused by some customers and a waiter that we are hiding a beer under the table. Even after we repeatedly tell him that 1. We do not drink and do not have any alcohol and offer to let him search us and 2. Almost everyone in our group is of age, he still continues to tell us that he will have to call the cops and that we can go to jail. Finally he storms off and we are left in awe of what just happened. Our waitress comes to the table to get our drink orders and we explain our confusion over the situation. She tells us she will go talk to the manager again. We watch her walk across the restaurant and talk to him. He seems very upset and is pointing at us. We then proceed to sit there for 25 minutes and are not served by anyone. We watch the manager talk to other waiters and point at us. NOBODY serves us. We ask 2 separate times to see the manager and watch those waiters go to the manager and tell him, yet he never comes. After 30 minutes of us sitting there with nobody even coming near our table, we are approached by another woman - a female. She is the general manager. We tell her that we are very upset and feel embarrassed and targeted. At this point the whole restaurant knows what’s going on because the manager has went and talked to every waiter about us. She just said “This is policy, I’m sorry about that” but would not explain to us why we were accused of having hidden alcohol OR why we were not being served. We all decided to leave the restaurant. We are so humiliated and left very upset. We will never go back to...
