I am not usually one to complain about services rendered. I typically enjoy sharing positive experiences to places I've been. But, this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had dining out somewhere. This will be lengthy to cover everything that happened. We arrived at location a little before 7 P.M. The location was very slow and only had roughly 5 tables seated which looked good because I assumed we would receive above average service. After being seated, it took our server 10 minutes to even greet us. Not a big deal as she was finishing up with one of her tables which left her only one other table besides us. I want to add that our server was beyond sweet, and that is the only reason I provided 2 stars instead of one. She started her introduction with explaining and apologizing how short staffed they were which confused me because the lack of guests present in the dining room. We told her we understood and that it was no problem because we are patient. For reference, there was 2 adults and 4 kids each of them over the age of 10. She took our drink order after about 15 minutes in and we also put in for 2 appetizers in order to give her time to catch up. Our drinks came out in stages, only bringing 2 the first trip, 3 the next trip brought by people that weren't our server and that led to me being left without a drink. At that point, we did not see our server for another 25-30 minutes. When she finally came back to our table, I told her that it had been over 30 minutes of being seated and I still didn't have my beverage. She quickly apologized and ran to go get my drink for me. After that, we all placed our actual orders. At that point, we still had not received either appetizer as well, but assumed they would be coming out shortly after she put in our full order. Another 20 minutes went by, and still no appetizers. I was starting to become frustrated because there was no way it takes that long to get an appetizer order (45-50 minutes after ordering them) but we couldn't even ask our server because she was no where to be seen. Eventually she passes by, and explains our appetizers will be out shortly. When she brings them to the table, you could tell they had been sitting under a heat lamp instead of freshly made. As she is setting down our appetizers, she adds that our food is coming out right after. Considering there was a 30 minute difference in the ordering of the apps and actual order that obviously didn't add up. When she brings out our food, our fries are borderline cold and some of our orders are not correct. Simple issues like receiving a dry rub wings instead of sauced. Now I'm ready to speak to the manager, and even saying that makes me cringe. But, this was not some small meal. We already have a bill more than $120 and I expect the quality to match what we're paying. The manager was sweet, and offered to remake the incorrect meals and give us fresh fries. She even said she was going to discount our bill which made me feel a lot better! I go sit back down, we get the fresh fries almost immediately as well as the fixed order which again was confusing because it should take longer to correct. All they did to correct the dry rub wings was to coat them in sauce on top of the dry rub which honestly made them not eatable. We decided to just take the discount and go with it. The manager only discounted our meal $15 which was not comparable to the issues. We didn't even touch 80% of the appetizers or eat 2/6 orders because of the mistakes. I love buffalo wild wings and this was a very disappointing experience to say the least. Not that it will affect them, but we will not be returning to this location!! I just hope other diners receive better service...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent in the early afternoon on a Saturday with my GF. My party of 2 and a group of about 5-6 arrived about the same time. Plenty of servers were available and not many sections (literally 6-7 tables - not including the 5 individuals at the bar) were occupied. While waiting to be seated, the personnel ignored all of us while walking by many times (and later began preparing a table for the larger group). We had begun looking over the menu so our server would not have to wait on our order selection. A young lady seated the larger group and then asked myself and my GF to seat ourselves at nearby booth (giving my GF menus to take to the table). Our table was the closest to the area where the servers have to go to the order-pickup or the register area. Many times servers, bussers, (and presumably the manager) would pass our booth/table and not even acknowledge us. Within 2 mins we made it apparent we were waiting to order by pushing the menus to the side (due to looking over the menu at the entry-way while waiting to be seated). After quite a while (30 mins), a party of 3-4 was seated directly next to us. Finally, a waitress recognized we still had nothing but menus, yet stated in passing that we had been there just as long as the party just seated. As if that wasn't insulting enough, the waitress attended to them first, and when she asked for our drink selection, immediately tried to leave prior to asking if we were ready to order (unlike how she asked the adjacent table). Then she tried to act like she was appalled by me stopping her to tell her we were ready to order. Outside of the obvious pattern of behavior, which suggested she knew we had been waiting for quite some time (35 mins at this point), she did maintain professionalism. However, she continued to avoid us for the duration, leaving each of our drinks empty instead of stopping to ask if we would like refills/another drink. Disregarding the wait time at the door, our visit was extended to 1hr and 45mins and we did not waste time leaving after paying. Even with few initial tables, and not even a large increase in customers, it was obvious a portion of the workers would only attend to larger tables and would completely disregard others. This is just an account of our experience at this location. Hopefully others don't receive the same treatment and it was just "one of those days." Too many restaurants in this area have been deteriorating over the past...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe service here is the worst service you will experience in the upstate. I put the full blame on management. Our server was very young evidently new to waiting tables. It appeared she was offered zero training. A poor manager would have told her what to do, a good manager would have stepped in tobassist and demonstate to her. The manager in question was worse than poor. When notified that half the people at our table had already recieved their food, waited until it was nearly too cold to eat , then proceeded to eat to avoid cold food (which by then 10 mins so actually was cold and only a small portion of it eaten) , at the behest of the rest of the party we were still waiting 15 min later for the rest of the food, her response was not an apology and a correction her response was to make an excuse. She said that they only had three working friers. We told her we noticed other tables that came in that were seated near us AFTER the first half of our 4 top party had already abandon eating cold food, had not only ordered but had also recieved their food. She asked us to wait another moment so she could check on our order. She returned with only one of two remaining plates and said sorry chicken wings just take a long time to cook. We mistakenly ordered CHICKEN WINGS IN A CHICKEN WING RESTAURANT. When told that was unacceptable we wanted the check she left with that plate of wings. As soon as she left with that order coincidentally another table next to us recieved an exact same size order to the order that just left our table that had literally just ordered minutes before while we were waiting on the manager. (It certainly appeared that the wings went back to the kitchen from our table then immediately to another table, hopefully not because I am prettybsure that is illegal.) Another third table full of people got up and walked out before recieving their drinks. I feel they may have also been paying attention and possibly witnessed the same seemingly apparent food transfer from table to table. We paid for our drinks and appetizer plus were charged in full for the portion of food that was too cold to finish and left. I generally give restaurants a second chance, but I will not be giving this location a second chance. I hope the health department takes a good long look at this place and the way it is...
