I placed my order through the app and drove 20 minutes to the location, expecting a quick and easy pickup because the app told me it would be ready in 7-10 minutes and I had already taken over 20 to get there.. However, when I arrived, there was only one person in front of me at the drive-thru, and they sat there for over 10 minutes before anyone even spoke to them through the speaker. Which is pathetic, short-handed or not (which they honestly didn’t appear to be whatsoever.) Once they finally ordered, I waited another 15+ minutes before anyone spoke to me. All I had to do was let them know I had a mobile order, but no one bothered to acknowledge me. Even a simple “I’ll be with you in just a moment” will do. I know you hear the drive thru speaker going off. When I finally reached the window, the person who was in front of me at the speaker still hadn't even received their food or drink. Like literally what are the employees doing back there??? I waited another 15 minutes behind them, and when they finally got their food, mine still wasn't ready. I waited another 20+ minutes, and when I finally got my coffee, the boba pearls were hard as rocks and completely raw. I was disgusted. To make matters worse, the employee told me that they didn't even have my boba milk tea, only the boba iced coffee. Why wasn't I told this when I first pulled up? I wasn’t told for a goooooooood while after I was already at the window. And why wasn't my food ready at this point, considering there were plenty of employees and hardly any customers PLUS a significant amount of time to have it ready by now. When I finally got my food after having to PULL AROUND (even though I was already sitting at the window for over 30 minutes) , it was all hard and cold, and everything was made wrong. My burgers had no toppings, and my tacos were all plain. And to top it all off, you didn't even have the churros I ordered, which I didn't find out until after waiting for over an hour and pulling around to the parking lot. When I was offered a refund by one of the crew members, I had to walk inside and the manager gave me attitude and made the process difficult. She took over 6 minutes to attempt to refund me my money and then after all that I was then told I had to go back to my car to retrieve my card, which was the final straw in an already incredibly frustrating experience. At that point, I had no time or patience left and had places to be. It shouldn't have taken over 10 minutes max. It's not a hard job at all. Overall, my experience at Jack in the Box was BEYOND a disaster. The worst I have EVER seen in my ENTIRE life. The service was slow, disorganized, lazy, and unprofessional, and the food was incorrect and of poor quality. If I would’ve had the time, I would’ve demanded a full refund honestly. I will not be returning to this location again or any Jack in the Box for that matter. At the very least I deserve a damn refund for what I ordered and did not receive although I think the entire thing should be, and I work in fast food myself so I do NOT take this lightly, I am ALWAYS patient and understanding when I go to a fast food place because I know first hand what it can be like to work in that environment. But me personally, I would NEVER serve someone the way I was served...
Read moreEDIT: So I have gone back recently amd everything is MUCH improved. The manager is different and i never have had an order wrong here in recent memory. The staff is kind and helpful. The drive through still does take some time but the food is good. All in all, very impressed with the changes and improvements.
Well my first time I came here I asked for "An extra couple packets of Ketchup and Mayo". I even apoligize for inconviencing them before I asked for the packets as I was aware there was a line behind me. she then proceeds to ive me one packet of each when I specfically said a couple. She then asks "How many packets do you need?" in a very exaspirated and annoyed manner.
Then months later, my second time. I order 2 sandwhichs (I believe a #1 and #4 with no pickles). I paid and then they gave me the order of the person behind me. I didn't realize this until I went all the way home. I went back and told them and they replaced it. I was annoyed but Mistakes happen and I tried to be as courteous as possible, especially because they were very busy. I then go home to find they got the #4 correct but gave me a completely different burger for my second order.
I wasn't going to drive back so I called,(very much fustrated and annoyed at this point) I explained the situation and informed them I would come back tomorrow to get my burger. The person on the phone was kind and said he woud leave a note in the managers office. I come back the next day and I explain to them the stiuation and that I need a #1 with no pickles. They gave me my sandwich and I went home. Lucky I'm not the kind of person to ask for extra compensation cause this was ridiculous. then to add insult to injury, I go home and there are pickles in my burger. Now thats not that big of a deal, I can just take them off, but the fact that the staff was aware of the problems they caused me and even then refused to even caterer to the simplest of requests. If thats how they treat a customer who they have already screwed over, I can only imagine how the would treat a normal customer. Actually i know how they would serve a normal customer.
EDIT: I went back last week completely forgetting my previous experince. I spent ATLEAST 20 minutes sitting in the drive through line with only 2 people in front of me. the cashier's excuse was "Sorry we're just having some issues back here". after I get my food they give me the wrong kind of fries. I know mistakes happen but for it to happen this consistently at this resturant...
Read moreThe term hero is tossed around liberally these days, but by definition a hero is someone who exemplifies noble qualities and the night shift at this Jack in the box is a band of heros only rivaled by the Avengers in scope.
The choices of after hours eateries after 9pm becomes a bleak wasteland with the only options being the drive thru at taco bell that I'm convinced is ran by the sloths from Zootopia(I'll save that review for later), the diarreah roulette of waffle house, and Jack in the box.
Every time I visit this fine eating establishment I'm greeted by several cars patiently to recieve their fast food communion but unlike their competitors the nightshift crew at Jack in the box don't play the "please pull ahead, we'll walk it out to you" game. These soon to be iron chefs flip food out the door so fast I often receive my order before I've even placed it.
Enough about their service speed let's also take a moment to adore the way they handle the customer. Customer service is the name of the industry and these employees who I'm almost certain aren't being paid enough to do the fine job their doing, are great at it. It's four in the morning I don't want a warm greeting from some highschool student trying to fake being chipper, this is a business transaction and it should be treated as such. The staff at this JITB ask me what I want and deliver the goods.
So to sum it all up this crew is fantastic and deserves medals gifted from Leonard A. Comma himself.
Seriously corporate make these guys day give 'em a bonus/raise/plaque/elephant...
