i’ve never written a bad review for somewhere but it’s just sad seeing a location so accessible to a lot of places be so incredibly bad. i live not even 6 minutes away from this location so i do come here quite often but recently its just gone completely downhill. recently i online ordered before coming in (something i do a lot and id never had problems before this) and typically i sit and eat the food there so i don’t have to wait in line. this last time i got my food, sat down and opened the bowl only to have my order be completely wrong. i understand having a mix up with orders, i worked at a chipotle for years, but when i went up to what i thought was one of the managers (i might be wrongly to see if they might of given me the wrong bowl, she proceeded to tell me that everything that was on it was right. mind you i got steak, brown rice, black beans and some of the other addons. what i received was a bowl with chicken, white rice, pinto beans and i was missing 6 addons from the bowl, the only thing they got right was the sour cream which she proceeded to tell me everything i was looking for was under the sour cream (it wasn’t). i genuinely hate confrontation when it comes to food service because i know how stressful it can get but that’s no excuse to completely disregard what i say, as well as completely interrupt when i’m trying to explain what i had. she continued to say it was my order when i said it had mild on it (i ordered hot not mild). eventually i just gave up and decided i would eat it despite the waste of a birthday gift card. now that’s not all, today i went in and decided to not order online so i could just get it completely right. when i show up i ask for my usual order, brown rice black beans and steak, they’re “out of steak”. i don’t mind their chicken to much so i get that instead, however once the person behind me asks for steak they get told “oh i’m sorry, we don’t have steak right now but you can wait like 3 minutes for it, it’s on the grill.” okay? would’ve been nice to know that but i brush it off, they proceed to scrap the bottom of the hot salsa bin and don’t even fill the spoon up 1/4ths the way. i sit down to eat my food, already slightly disappointed only to realize the veggies aren’t even cooked, they’re supposed to be grilled. at this point i’m just over it so i take the veggies out and eat the old and dry rice and completely charred chicken. like i said, i’ve never written a bad review before but it’s genuinely disappointing spending your money somewhere you love to eat only for it to be a terrible experience. anyways, i’m not expecting anything out of this, just want to warn people what they might experience if they go to...
Read moreI wanted to enjoy chipotle bowl after a long day of being on the road. I ordered my food but chipotle so cheap and stingy they gave me half a scoop of carne asada meat. I advised the worker to put a little more but he said “if I put more it’ll be extra” I said “well what you just put was half a scoop” then he said “okay I can give you a whole scoop” & puts 3 pieces of meat on my plate, which wasn’t the issue because he gave me the rest of my scoop. Chipotle was kind of busy this day 12/2/2023, I went to check out and they were having issues with the receipt printing and they couldn’t take cash apparently. I put my card in and the young black teenager with dreads checked me out & confirmed amount of $14.06 as my total. I said “14 what “ and he said “.06” I proceed to pay the “14.06”. Then once I left, I checked my bank acc and they charged me $20.82. I went back to professionally speak with the manager. Which was a mistake but it showed the true colors of this franchise. The young, black, light skinned, lady manager otherwise wasn’t willing to step to the side and speak with me and wanted to talk across the room for everyone to hear. She said “how can I help you ma’am” I said “I got overcharged” She then proceeded to put words in my mouth saying “I was standing there the whole time, and you also asked for guacamole”, which was funny because if I asked for guacamole why didn’t you give it to me. But I never asked for guacamole, their guac looked brown and old anyway. I ordered a bowl with white rice, carne asada meat, queso, lettuce, and cheese. The two young black men with dreads there, should not be working there (referring to the one who checked me out and his “brother”) One of the black men working there (skinny, dark-skin boy with dreads) said “if they broke and can’t afford…” I mean these two men were hot headed and disrespectful. And wanted to “box” my god father. Puffing their chest up and getting close. When no one wanted to come in and start an issue. Also they don’t wear hair nets or change out gloves after touching everything. Don’t take these folks serious, because they don’t take their job...
Read moreI don’t often write reviews but it would be irresponsible for me not to. This is a fair warning for anyone that may eat here.
At this point I’ve eaten at hundreds of Chipotles all over the country with varying levels of service. Honestly it’s kind of expected. The food is good but the service is mid and the dining rooms are often dirty. Par for the course.
I ordered the same chicken bowl I’ve had hundreds of times. Chicken bowl, brown rice, no beans, extra cheese and extra corn salsa. Now I’ve been to chipotle’s where they skimp you on one or two ingredients (usually chicken or rice) and if you politely ask for more they oblige and keep it moving.
Well, today I was surprised to find out that Chipotle now charges for extra cheese. You know when you ask for quac they make sure to confirm you know it’s extra? Apparently they don’t do that if you want extra cheese at this one. You can still order extra cheese and corn salsa online with no extra charge for this location, but not in the store. When I asked if it was extra they said yes (with an attitude like I should have known better to ask). After explaining I wish I would have known that before, the cashier rudely said she didn’t charge me and reiterated that it should be but she didn’t charge me.
Maybe this is something specific to this location to charge extra for things because the person behind me wanted a salad dressing and they wanted to charge extra for that.
What makes it worse is, as I’m eating my meal I could over hear the staff complaining to each other about customers (probably complaining about me). I was so surprised that I had to google it and apparently there are some locations that do this.
Lesson learned I guess… even if you need to order online while you’re in the parking lot it’s going to be a better experience than having made feel guilty or like I did something wrong because they wanted to charge extra for something I’ve literally never had to pay extra for.
Hopefully someone...
