Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Spartanburg

I once loved them, not just because they’re close to my home but the service and food was “Once” Awesome.But the past couple of months have been hit and Miss. I’ve noticed they’ve had a continuous turnaround with employees. It’s always new faces when I come in. I usually alternate between the same three menu choices I always choose. And it’s never made consistently the same. It’s almost like depending on who’s working/preparing ur food depends on how your food will turn out. I usually don’t complain but after Numerous failed orders I complained. They put me on the make it right list which allotted me three free meals being that I couldn’t pick my remake up the same day. And they still got two out of the three make it right orders. The first time last week was not even what I ordered. The second time which was today I asked if they could make a flatbread into a wrap they guy told me yes and this is what they gave me pictured below. As you can see it’s mostly dough hardly no meat, no toppings and it was extremely dry so there was little to no sauce. Only bacon on one side, just looking at this you could tell this isn’t fit to be served to anyone. The flat bread had more toppings and meat made the regular way. Highly disappointed and turned off. This is the make it right credit meal that they clearly still got wrong.Disappointed...

I’ve tried a few smoothies but this time I was craving something sweet and not tart. Josh provided a few recommendations. He even thoroughly gave his synopsis on the cranberry truffle. I was hesitant as I’m not a big fan of cranberries but he made it sound so good and assured it was more on the sweeter side than tart. So of course I ordered it and Josh was on point. That was exactly what my tastebud’s were craving. It was so good that I ordered two! The strawberry, cranberry, white chocolate mixture with the nonfat yogurt was everything! Just absolutely delicious! That’s a perfect combination! It’s not too heavy of a cranberry kick but just right! It means a lot to walk into an establishment and not feel rushed or forced to hurry up and order. Josh was patient, professional and provided exceptional service! I’ll most definitely patronize this...

Our family went yesterday and got our order to go. It would have been nice to have had our food labeled on the wrapper, so we knew which was which, but it was not, which left us unwrapping and searching trying to figure out which was which, the contents are very skimpy. The food was very fresh but simply not worth the expence. The wraps were much more wrap than actual contents and we all felt hungry afterwards. Our total for three people for three wraps and three small bags of chips was about $25.00. We will *never go back for the food, however we will go and try the smoothies. The atmosphere was fun...
