Ordered lunch at work, MAYBE 5-7 businesses from Jimmy Johns. After 20 minutes of no food, we called and were told that ONE of the drivers had locked his keys in the car and that the food was on it's way. Unfortunate, but understandable. At this it was assumed that the food would arrive shortly and another driver was bringing it. After 15 more minutes of no food we called again and asked to speak to a manager. I let the manager know what had happened. It wasn't so much the fact that it was 20 minutes for fast food we could have walked to get, but that the employee lied, or misled stating that it was in the car and on it's way. The manager said that he just went and got the driver and that he would PERSONALLY bring the food to us. After 40 minutes of waiting for fast food, some poor kid finally brought the food to us, but wanted the receipt signed. I called again, where the manager answered hello, in a rude/annoyed tone, like it was his personal phone. I let him know we would not be paying, since the whole thing behind Jimmy Johns is "freaky fast delivery", and it took 40 minutes. He then said to send his employee back, with the food. This is the second time we have ordered food from this specific Jimmy Johns and had to wait 40+minutes.
I have never felt strongly enough to leave a review, but I have also NEVER received such poor service. The manager never once apologized, and we were lied to on every occasion in which we spoke with them. Again, not so much the waiting, I get people are human and mistakes happen, but own up to it and apologize. Also, if you are in the position of a manager, you should be the one who owns it and does what it takes, within reason, to make it right. I don't think, after waiting 40 minutes for two basic sandwiches and a bag of chips, it is unacceptable to ask that you not be charged and be able to eat the food you waited for. Read moreWorst Jimmy John's, do not order from here unless you wish to wait 1 to 2 hours for your food to be delivered. The general manager John is a liar and very unprofessional person. I am still owed 2 refunds from this location. I contacted their corporate office but since it's privately owned they said someone would contact me. Has been weeks and no one has. I am to the point where I will just have to call my bank and dispute the charges. They have a tendency to lie to you about your orders. They say it will be there 4 min and 40 min later still not here and when you call, they always come up with new lies. John the GM gave me the store phone number as if it was his cell to text him my information for the refund, I confirmed by asking him if it received texts and he said yes. Well it didn't and of course I fell for it, he just wanted to get me off the phone. Even Rachel the manager said oh no that phone doesn't get messages!! The first time it happened I said okay maybe they were supper busy etc.. which is why it took almost 2 hours to get my food, so I gave them another chance and nope that is just their nature... Lesson learned for sure.

We have been ordering from this Jimmy Johns for a year, me and my coworkers and they have always delivered every time we call and order (hence why they have our address saved in their computer system). I also want to add that the man that I was talking to on the phone was very rude. My coworker tried to call again and they hung up on the call and refused to talk to her so she called off of her cell phone and he told her that they could deliver to the entrance to my work but could not drive into the entrance because it was not within the areas that they deliver to.... but my work is on 10th street... which does not make sense at all because they deliver to all businesses in speedway and west 10th street. I think it is safe to say, this jimmy johns will never be getting our business again and if i could leave negative stars I would. The fact that I have read multiple reviews about them not delivering to places that are so close really tells me something about this JJ.
