I used to love Auntie Anne, but quality is not consistent and not monitored. In my city, the pretzel used to be soft and chewy. Now they seem to have a lot of employees turn over, and the pretzels are still chewy, but it is on the tough side. It is not rubbery, but it is definitely tougher than it should be. I also tried it in Vegas, 3 different locations, during different trips, and each location was different. At one of the locations, the pretzel dough was raw, dough was wet and bitter, but employees were nice to remake the pretzel, and after 2 attempts the dough was getting to the ... done side, but I was able to taste some bitterness while eating. 2nd location was ok, but a little tough. 3rd location was burnt...

They will just tell you what's in the case is all they have left for the day. Recently grabbed the last plain pretzel.
