I have been going to the location on 2nd and Washington 3 to 5 times a day. Religiously! Since August 1st. A couple months ago, I came through the line for the 4th time that day. All 4 times the trash can was full. No problem. I get it. The place is booming. I asked Soren if he would throw my old Dutch Bros cup away. He say, no. Tells me I need to put it in the trash outside. I tell him, it's been full all day! He says, i will do it this time. Next time i wont be able to do it. Honestly, he bothered me that day. I let it go. A week ago, I come through the line and order my usual. The employees usually have my drink ready. I recently started using my Dutch Bros cup. As it saves me a quarter. I come to the window, with my cup. Soren says, you owe me a quarter. I tell him, no. I have a cup. If you are gonna make my drink before I get to the window, that's on you. But I'm not paying the quarter anymore. He chuckles. Says ok. Now today, I go through the line, and Soren says, this is the last time you can pay without the extra quarter. I tell him AGAIN, I have a cup. Then he still wants to go back and forth. He dismisses me with laughter. Soren is the only employee from any location who has given me a problem. When the trash has been overflowing, other employees take my old cup. With a smile. If the drink has been made before I arrive at the window, and I say I have a cup, there is absolutely no problem. Soren, has caused me to have a horrible feeling about Dutch Bros. Soren is the reason I wont spend another QUARTER at Dutch Bros. I have been nothing but courteous to every employee there. I have taken time to write a nice review about Paige. About the fact the Dutch Bros would do well keeping her around etc etc. One person can ruin everything. I own a business myself 1 block away. I will drive miles away for a drink. Before I spend another quarter with Dutch Bros. So, I happen to run into the regional manager ( Jenny ). I expressed to her exactly what I expressed in this review. She acknowledged that Soren was wrong. She assured me she would take care of it. She promised to call me after she spoke with him. This has been a complete 2 weeks ago. No call as promised. She seemed more concerned with where I left the poor review. " oh no Jay. Did you leave it on Yelp, Google, or just Facebook? " When I told her " google ", she says again, " oh no ". I feel like she should be saying, " oh no " about the way one of her employees has treated me. That's clearly not Jenny's concern. So, should I report this to Customer Experience team? So that they can forward this along to a person who I've already spoke with? With absolutely no results. You can get tea, coffee, shakes, smoothies, and energy drinks hot, iced or blended, with different add-ins like popping boba, shimmer, fruit, tahin, and candy They can make anything you want. I usually get a golden eagle style Chai with a soft top. My family gets a Chai with oat milk, a Rebel (like Red Bull) blended with a sugar-free flavor combo that we made up and a smoothie. They have sweet snacks like muffin tops and Dutcheroos that are great. There are seasonal drinks that are imaginative and yummy. Yesterday, I had one of the specials - Tropical Frosted Lemonade. It was topped with real strawberries and was super refreshing. USE THE APP! You get points for free drinks, can peruse the huge menu ( which you should go do right now), and you can pay from the app and easily recharge your money in it. It's a drive-up only place, and there's usually a line, but everyone who works here is incredibly friendly and competent. It never takes long. Today (oct 3) I stopped by and they were super busy, cars out to the street, so a lady came out to my car and took my order. When I finally made it up to the window the guy took my money and repeated my order. It was wrong so I corrected him. The girl making my drink DID NOT like that. She immediately got mad and started bitching about it. "That is not what she said! Great now I have to make another coffee!" And on and on. The whole time she was making my order she was complaining. Loudly. The guy at the window just looks at me a little shocked and started asking me how my day is going and starting conversation. He was extremely polite and I am happy with how he was. The girl in the other hand was completely out of line. She made me feel bad for having to make the drink over, but it wasn't even my fault! And how does she even know what I ordered to begin with?
