The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. It felt like a luxury cart on a passenger train from the 1960s. I absolutely loved it. The pancakes were very light and buttery. They have a beautiful crisp edge that is packed with buttery goodness to balance every bike of pancake. Best pancakes I've had in a very long time. The chicken fried steak was a little tough but the flavor was phenomenal!!! My favorite one in Spokane! We upgraded to the loaded hash browns which means we got cheese, bell pepper, and onion on top. It was absolutely worth it. Our potatoes had a healthy amount of cheese and toppings. The syrup had butter melted in so it looked a bit separated/weird, but there was nothing wrong with the flavor. We split a short stack (2 cakes) and a chicken fried steak and it was more than enough to fill two grown adults. 100% recommend...

What a delightful lil place. Batter on the CFS was the texture of like a beer batter, not sure what they did but it was delightful! The sausage gravy I would say one of the best in a long time, something special about it. A big suprise was with the eggs beni I asked no mushrooms and added bacon as I like the vegis in a eggs beni. Comes with hashbrowns then opted in for the loaded hashbrowns. Usually that entails most places sour cream, cheese and onions. Here they truly made them loaded with that delish sausage gravy with saute onions and green peppers, cheese truly loaded and so good. Finally made it to Maddie's Corner Cafe so worth it. BEST FRIES EVER!!! They taste like steak. It's so insane you know you are eating a potato but your taste buds are like yummy steak. The outside is so crispy the inside is perfectly soft and melts in the mouth. The adult grilled cheese was delicious and perfectly toasted melty gooey. The vegetable benedict was fantastic, the English muffins were lovely toasted chewy, tomato, mushrooms and spinach were perfectly tasty, the egg was runny in the way it should be, the Hollandaise was delicious!
