Atmosphere is good. Decor is wonderful. Not over the top and currently embracing the Halloween spirit.

When we first walked in it was a bit awkward as there were people seated and eating, but no one was there to greet us. We stood awkwardly for 2 minutes. And just as I spotted the tiny bell button to ring is when the hostess came out. She was very kind. Suggestion to owner is to put a sign by the bell, "ring for assistance."

Husband ordered his usual, Pad Woon Sen. He enjoyed it. His dish came without the tomato and he missed having they taste to go along with his dish.

I ordered the Tom Yom soup which had amazingly delicious broth. One of the best I've had. Perfect amount of sour-lemony taste. I ate every last drop. The part where improvement is needed is mushroom to onion ratio. There was maybe one mushroom thinly sliced into the soup. As for onion it was like half an onion. I love onion, but it is a fairly cheap vegetable and mushroom is the first ingredient listed so... reduce onion, increase mushroom. Tofu was yummy. Spice Level 3 had me tearing up so, yay.

We will return and try other dishes, but for now my overall rating is 3.5 stars.

Server was very nice and she gets 5 stars.

Below review was for the former Thai restaurant, Phontip Style Thai, who sold their South Hill Location, but weirdly Google melted the two together. Weird. Absolutely LOVE the food at Phontip. First time visiting their South Hill location. So excited that they now have this new spot in addition to the one off Francis which we’ve gone to well over 20 times in just 2 years. If you haven’t yet tried this place and you love Thai then quit waiting and EAT HERE. My favorite is Thai Basil with Chicken - Level 5. Fiancé’s favorites are Pad See Ew, Rad Na, and Pad Thai, but today he went for Pad Woon Sen and it’s...

We needed something quick for dinner tonight after a long day, and thought Thai food sounded great. First I called Thai Bamboo to place an order to go, and they honestly (and thankfully) told me that it would be an hour for any to go orders. I did a google search for other Thai restaurants in our neighborhood and found Thai Cuisine. I called, and the woman who answered was very friendly and helpful. We ordered chicken pad Thai, crab Rangoon, and Tom kha soup. Everything was ready in 15 minutes, and it is DELICIOUS. My boyfriend picked up the order on his way home, and the first thing he said was how nice the woman an the front was (who I assume also answered the phone), and that it seemed like a nice family joint. We won’t be going to Thai Bamboo any time soon! The food is much better, faster, and I would rather support a smaller local business.

7/23 Review Update: we ordered for a second time today, and the experience was just as pleasant! This time we tried the chicken laarb which was SO FLAVORFUL and delicious! The green curry with shrimp was also a hit, and the crab Rangoon and pad Thai with chicken were just as awesome the second time. Phonthip Thai Cuisine is now our go-to neighborhood Thai food...

I am so glad to see the amazing traditional Thai flavors of my favorite Thai eatery now available in South Hill. This is authentic Thai food prepared by Thai people. I also am glad this location also caters to plant based diets!! They will taylor everything to meet you dietary needs. I had my favorite tonight. Vegetable Drunken Noodles (pad Kee mao). I oder mine with extra noodles and extra mushrooms. Today I did only 3/5 for spice (normally do 5). It was what I call mid range spice but all the flavor couples with it nicely. It had the smokey basil flavor that keeps you craving more. Ang was the cook this evening and she did a remarkable job delivering the consistent taste I am used to when Phonthip herself is cooking at the Francis location. No indoor dining here yet but the hostess was courteous and delightful.

Best news ever is you can now find this amazing restaurant on Treehouse Deliveries!!! Support best delivery service in town. It is locally owned and only delivers from...

I have no idea how this place even gets any stars tbh. I ordered via uber eats the pineapple fried rice with chicken, thinking how could anyone mess up fried rice... since I haven’t ordered from them before. Holy smokes, sure enough it’s borderline edible. No flavor, no spice other than 100% sodium. The chicken smelled like it came straight from the backyard chicken coop. I could not eat this and honestly the few bites I took because I was starving... now I regret since it’s giving me belly issues. Threw it out into the rubbish bin in the office kitchen. NEVER AGAIN.

Stopped in on my lunch break, when I got back to work I opened the container and was really looking forward to my chicken fried rice. It looked like it had some interesting seasoning, little black specs of something which looked like it would be pretty yummy! However it was not seasoning lol, I'm guessing the grill or whatever was used to cook the food was not cleaned prior. There was a little bit of a burnt taste from the seasoning that was not seasoning lol. Once you got past that it wasn't bad.
