I spent $113 and this was the absolute rudest and worst experience during my trip to Spokane Washington. In 29 years, I have never been yelled at by restaurant staff then projected onto like Abby and the bald guy in the back of my picture. My client really wanted to eat here so we ordered over the phone 2 hours earlier. When it was time to pay, my client handed me the phone. I explained to Abigale that this would be a company expense so I needed the itemized receipt before I flew out. I asked for this because, generally, when I call and ask for it later, restaurant systems can’t pull the receipt back up or forget. She said she would send it, cursed at me because my email was long. 2 hours later, no receipt. I stopped back by my clients office for the receipt. He only had the one I tipped her using but gave me the store number to call. I was around the corner so I called to let her know I would be stopping by to pick it up if that was easier. She proceeded to cut me off and yell at me that she was busy making sandwiches. I tried to explain I could stop by and wait but she hung up in my face. When I arrived, the young lady at the front took my name and told her I was here. From the kitchen, Abby yelled at me again in front of all her guests saying she was slammed and it would be a minute asking do I really need it now. Before I could explain that the note that she wrote down my order would work just fine, the bald guy with glasses came around putting his hands up and yelled at me after Abby did. I asked him to please calm down and there was no need to yell at me. He then walked off saying he didn’t have time for this and went to making sandwiches. This was so embarrassing because I was calm, reserved, and patient already. When I saw Abby walking by, I tried to again explain that this was an uncomfortable experience, I was about to go to the airport and the note card she used to take my order should work for my expense report. She said I was the rudest person she has ever met and she would “stop what she was doing and do it now so I could get out”. What a horrible way to treat a guest. Horrible nasty staff members. I can’t imagine how they treat their subordinates. I would never visit this establishment again....
Read moreThe food at this establishment was phenomenal!!! I ordered "The Cowboy", coleslaw and a fountain drink. My friend and I shared a cream cheese brownie. The sandwich was delicious! The tomato was cut in a way that made it so it didn't slip off the bread, a problem I commonly find. I complemented the ranch dressing that was included with mayo to create a creamy sauce. The coleslaw was top of the line, and there was enough served that I wasn't wishing for more after it was gone. The meal came with a complimentary cookie, chocolate chip. The fountain drink was served in a 24oz cup that didn't have a lid, which made it difficult bringing my refill home. For two sandwiches, a Snapple, a brownie and a fountain drink the total was $49.20, a little pricey in my opinion, but do able on occasion. The meal was brought in a paper bag allowing me to bring the leftovers home. The dining area was beautiful, the customer service was great and the food...
Read moreThis is my go-to for lunch. Their sandwiches are so tasty! There is something for everyone, from the pickiest of eaters to one who will eat anything. I have tried several of their sandwiches and loved them all. Their Asian sesame noodle salad is also fantastic! They are fast, which is a bonus. I walked in one time and the line was to the door. I thought “we will be here forever.” Turns out, from the time we walked in until we had our sandwiches and left, it was less than 10 minutes. They have some unique fountain drinks from RC Cola to a Raspberry seltzer. In their cooler, they have Snapple flavors and milks, among other drinks. They also have a soup of the day. If it’s loaded potato soup, GET IT!! Delish!! The staff is friendly and professional. Seriously…try their food!! The Sundowner is by far my favorite. It’s everything good about thanksgiving...
