Went in yesterday looking for home decor and was sadly disappointed. I am a fashion girlie though so this was a fun find. To my understanding the vendors swap out. Love that there is 6,000 sq ft of vintage clothing to look at.
First impressions: I was overwhelmed but amazed all at once. Haven’t been to a shop like this in a long time and I was getting emotional looking at all the vintage clothes (Zillenial - reminded me of my youth).
Pricing: As a thrifter and reseller coming from Seattle, these prices are high. As expected to make a profit but some of the items are not worth it. A secondhand leather skirt for $60 blows my mind. A $24 cropped knit cardigan with pulled threads, yikes. But I guess is goodwill is charging outrageous prices, so should locals. Found a cute oversized sweater in one of the many books and crannies. Not sure if they have sale days but I would have a hey day if they did.
Selection: Whether you’re a man or woman you can find something up your alley. Lots of skirts, dresses, shorts, jeans on jeans, plenty of sweaters of all kinds, some belts, some shoes. Don’t forget to check the walls. I think I only spent an hour and a half in there but you can definitely spend longer looking through...
Read moreUsually love this place, regardless of how it can be overpriced due to the atmosphere and variety. However, today After trying things on, we made one more lap around the store and when we got close to the register the worker confronted us and asked what a $100 tag came off of. To which I responded I did not try anything in that was that expensive. He said he always checks and it was not there before insinuating I was lying. Then from a pair of Jeans my friend tried on that didn’t have a button he asked her if she broke then to which she replied she did not know since she never fully pulled them up since they were too small. To which he then said he would rather us just be honest. I am a regular here and have spent decent money on things that I could find at goodwill to support a local business. Really bad taste left in my mouth as I’ve interacted with this employee before with no problems. I’ve worked retail and understand it can be frustrating when people steal but we were very respectful, honest and understanding and still were met with hostility.. Just disappointing...
Read moreUsed to be one of my favorite vintage stores in the area. I came in about a month ago to check out what they had. There were several guys who either worked there or were affiliated with the store in some way (a couple were maybe dropping clothes off). They were all standing around the register. One guy wasn't wearing a mask at all, another had it under his nose. The maskless guy was so loud. He was practically shouting to his buddies. No matter how far into the store I got, I could hear him yelling to his friends. Not at all the vintage store experience I'm used to. We were there about half an hour and heard him the whole time. Would have stayed longer but it was so loud. Ended up leaving without buying anything because we didn't want to approach them at the register. I hope they address this, because they have neat stuff, and...
