Zip's Drive In — Restaurant in Spokane

Very very disappointed! I ordered their 3 PC fish and chips and 5 burgers, no pickle, extra onion from the downtown Spokane location. Their fish "pieces" are more like fish tots. I seriously got 3 pieces that were the size of tater tots. Literally 1 bite each. And my burgers had absolutely nothing on them other than pickles! They were honestly worse than McDonald's and I despise McDonald's 😠! I called and spoke with a manager and she stated there is nothing that can be done without a receipt. Well guess what!?!?!? The receipt was apparently wherever they put the rest of my fish and my onions. Not in the bag!!! I understand needing a receipt for some things but first off, I wasn't asking for a refund I simply wanted to express my concern, primarily regarding the 'fish tots'. She said she could not address that issue without a receipt. I explained it never made it in the bag but I had pictures and can show on my bank statement that I just spent over $30 at that specific time (for absolutely inedible burgers and 3 bites of fish). Nothing can be done she exclaimed. Seriously though!!! They were literally fish tots!!!!!

Picture of fish was taken after I had reached in the bag and pulled one out to eat on my way home so there is only 2 pieces in the picture. When I saw the piece that I pulled out to eat I thought that it surely was a mistake and that there would be 3 regular sized pieces of fish and that I got an extra teeny tiny one too 🤷....

Almost had a 5 star until an employee got visibly frustrated and proceeded to get upset with me, telling me to my face that I am basically making them dig in their pockets because I don’t have the money for tax after having to explain that I have a coupon stating that THAT zips only took the coupon. It said $1 for two burgers. My other $1 coupon is for Taco Bell. They said to come back tomorrow, I mentioned that I was trying to feed my husband and son. This employee proceeded to ask in a very agitated tone “ what? Two bacon burgers aren’t enough for your husband and son and you?” At that point I told them to cancel my order because there was no excuse for an employee to say anything that they did the way they did to a customer. They don’t know their story or what is going on. But thank you. Now I know where NOT to go. Or more like where to go if I want to be treated like a P.O.S. For not having enough money. A restaurant should be polite not rude to their customers. Especially...

We stopped here on our travels and decided to try this place which was new to us. Will not eat here again. Food was not bad or anything but very expensive for fast food. Was no better and comparable to McDonalds or Burger King. The kids meal alone was $7 and only came with a drink, fries, and nuggets, and a toy, which is more than what they charge in restaurants for a whole meal. My daughter didn't like her fries si we basucally paid $7 for nuggets. For just the two of us (And I only got one burger meal combo with a shake to drink) was just over $20. For that price I would expect a delicious burger and fresh cut fries. What they serve are frozen crinkle fries. For $20 most other fast food places could feed 4 people not 1 adult and...
