Beautiful cathedral in the historic center of Spokane. They did a beautiful job maintaining it. I love the stain glass windows and the marble on the altar. Reminds me of the churches in Europe. More importantly, the faith community is strong, very kind and respectful. We attended Assumption Day mass. Their website is maintained well with bulletins and announcements which helped a lot for us being from out of town. Parking can be an issue if you arrive early, but they do have their own parking available that they open about 15min prior to mass. Pews were comfortable and spacious.

Ah, yes, the cathedral of our Lady of the blah blah blah blah blah. I'm sure there was a time long before man realized that the earth orbited the sun and not vice versa that this belief system was relevant and warranted gigantic gawdy buildings containing gigantic gawdy sculptures of a fabled man who dedicated his life to serving the poor, as his followers are clearly doing here at this gigantic expensive structure. But that time has long passed and it's now just a grotesquely beautiful example of nice masonry and stone sculpture carving. Amen.

The music at the 11 o’clock Sunday Mass is absolutely and consistently transcendent. The organ pulses through the building, the trumpet adds a bright sound and the choir makes it all heavenly. Better yet, it’s all for the glory of God and aids my prayer and praise at Mass! Jesus wants to meet you there for sure!! There is a concert series there, too; check the website, you won’t be disappointed because the Spokane Cathedral contends with some of the other fine cathedrals I’ve been to around the world renowned for their beautiful music.

I am so DISAPOUNTED AND SAD with your memebers behaviors🤢

My mom ,a 74 years old senior and my sister,they came to visit me,they are catolic,I am not,Praise God,I was in the past,involved with my a catolic church in Brasil,Rio. Anyway,my mom arrived home sad because a member refused to "guive the peace" shaking her hand,literaly the member,an asian one,forsake her and my sister. Awful behavior from your church,what do you guys are teaching about the Lord? about love,compassion,mercy? Sorry but,nothing. I apologize to my mother for you guys,I told my mom that it is not because her,it is the members in this church. They went to there 3 times and these 3 times, they always tell me about the members that are moking other members. This is a magnificent cathedral. Built in 1903 it is a perfect example of the beauty and majesty of cathedrals built at the beginning of the 20th century. Inside is tastefully ornate with beautiful stained glass windows, detailed marble stations of the cross and a towering pulpit. The alter is imposing and flanked by two huge circular stained glass windows and five stained glass windows behind. The rounded ceiling resembles waffling.
