El Steak Burrito — Restaurant in Spring Valley

El Steak Burrito on the surface may seem like a simple place in an unsuspecting area, but this Mexican food is very literally the best I have ever had anywhere that I've traveled in the world. I've been all over Mexico, and all over South America, and I absolutely love burritos. I've had literally thousands at hundreds of different restaurants over the years, none come close to being as good as this place.

The burrito is so perfectly seasoned, and perfectly balanced. The pico de gallo is some of the best I've ever had. Their tacos are incredible and the guacamole is next level.

I went into the kitchen to talk to the chef and it's an older lady who came as an immigrant from Central America, and to me that's a beautiful story. There is no question about it in my mind, this is the single best place to get tacos and burritos in America, it's literally so good that whenever I drive through Las Vegas I make this my main stop.

I went to El Steak Burrito because I keep hearing about their pupusas from my relatives. so I decided to give them a try.

I ordered the following:

1. 10 Pupusas (5 loroco & 5 revueltas)- I must say that these are the best pupusas in Las Vegas. The flavor is as I would expect it. The portion is a bit small, but the taste is 100% authentic. I recommend these!!

2. 2 Tamales de Pollo- these tamales were way too small than anything I've ever had before. At the price tag of $2.99. I cannot recommend these to anyone. The two that we received were dry; not sure if they were fresh.

3. Coconut Horchata- I was not too fond of the horchata, but everyone else in my family enjoyed it. As for me, I like the original flavor.

4. 3 orders of Flan- for $2.00 each, these were delicious and something sweet to enjoy at the end of your meal.

I highly recommend trying this place if you are in the area. We saw they were known for their burritos so we got a chorizo and papas burrito which was super good but honestly the pupusas are even better. They are BOMB!! Probably the best pupusas I’ve had! And they are only like $2.35-3.19 each! Such an amazing deal for high quality food. I got the cheese and jalapeño and cheese and shrimp and I regret and not getting more! When I am back in the area I am definitely stopping to get more pupusas and to try other things on the menu. It takes a minute to get your food because everything is made fresh/to order so it is definitely worth the wait. They have some pretty good coconut horchata too. The service was really nice too!
