Real Poke, not the tiny cubes you get at the Japanese restaurants. Coming from Hawaii, the poke at this place is even better than most places you find in Hawaii, definitely better than Star Market or Foodland. I was ecstatic to find this place and if I was rating based off places from Hawaii as well, this place still will get at least 4 stars. Fish also taste fresh which is a surprising since I live in a desert now and bad fish at differing Japanese restaurants is not uncommon here.
There is only one other poke place here in Vegas I heard of but I forget its name; I don't know where it's located but I heard it was just as good so I guess it really comes down to where you are located. I'm just happy about this place exist in a desert... it's a god send, I tell you. I just wish Ahi wasn't soo expensive...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI looked this little spot up so I could get some Hawaiian style poke. First of all there is NO parking, you have to walk across the street. They don't have very many selections for thier poke, I think when I went in there was 3 choices, all which I literally got the last scoop full. They're on the more expensive side that I've seen. The garlic herb poke was the best selection. I love spicy but thier spicy poke had so much sauce that the spiciness was overbearing and I had to constantly gulp down water to manage the flavor. This is a walk up place there's no where to sit. The people that worked there weren't very friendly or helpful but they weren't rude.. I may give this place another shot to see if I happened to go in on...

The other main reason we come here is because itās gluten free. My bf has Celiac and cannot have regular soy sauce. Not sure if everything is gluten free.. but the owners say they never put soy directly in their poke and always leave it on the side. We just ask for no shoyu and bring our own GF Soy sauce.
We always get the shoyu ahi poke (had some macadamia nuts inside, not sure if the ingredient was newly added) and limu ahi poke.
Itās hard enough trying to find a safe place to eat for Celiacs in Vegas. This is a place we come back to frequently. There are tables outside to...
