On Nov 19, 2023, my family and I were in the mood for some ramen, so we conducted a Google searching spree to find a restaurant we haven't tried yet and found this one. When we walked in, I immediately noticed how nice the décor was; it had a comfortable blend of both rustic and modern themes. I also noticed how tiny the waiting area was...it was challenging to stand there with all the other folks picking up online orders. I was a little annoyed at first because when we walked in, we had to stand there for a while (maybe 3 minutes) and no one even acknowledged our presence (even though they can see us standing there). The fact that there were ~6 tables open and we couldn't be seated right away was also a little annoying. I mean at least tell us to seat ourselves, or greet us, or something. Aside from that, the overall service here was adequate - really, it was just one employee that was less than adequate. I suspect that this one incident isn't indicative to their everyday operations...maybe this employee was new? We ended up ordering the following: Homemade Gyoza, Chicken Hirata Bun, Pork Hirata Bun, Chicken Spicy Miso Ramen, Pork Miso Ramen, Tonkotsu Ramen, Strawberry Crepe Cake, Matcha Crepe Cake, and UBE Ice Cream. Everything was so flavorful and I really enjoyed the ramen broth! The gyoza was different but in a good way; the flavor and texture was perfect. The Hirata Buns tasted excellent; however, I wasn't a fan of the bun texture - it wasn't as soft (pillowy) as I'm accustomed to. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have fresh bean sprouts or fried garlic as ramen "add-in" options, but that's just a personal preference and doesn't reflect my overall rating and/or review of this business...not a showstopper. The desserts were outstanding and I would love to go back and try some of the other dessert options on their menu. The price-to-quantity/quality ratio is reasonable. Overall, my family and I enjoyed our experience here and although I've had better experiences at other ramen restaurants in the Las Vegas-Henderson-Summerlin areas, I still recommend this place to everyone.

2nd time with Boat noodle Wagyu A5, an absolute masterpiece that showcases the chef's impeccable skill and dedication to culinary excellence. The bowl arrived before me, a vibrant work of art that captured my attention with its enticing aromas. The broth, rich and complex, was a harmonious blend of savory flavors, leaving a lingering umami sensation on my taste buds. The tender slices of meat, perfectly cooked and marinated, melted in my mouth with every bite. The accompanying noodles, cooked to perfection, absorbed the essence of the broth, creating a symphony of textures that left me craving more. For those seeking the epitome of indulgence, the Wagyu A5 is an absolute must-try. This dish showcases the pinnacle of Japanese beef, known for its exceptional marbling and buttery tenderness. The moment I took my first bite, my taste buds were enraptured by the melt-in-your-mouth sensation of the Wagyu. Each bite released an explosion of flavors, as the marbling rendered a delectable richness that danced on my palate. This exceptional dish is a testament to the restaurant's commitment to sourcing the finest ingredients and their dedication to elevating the dining experience. The attention to detail and authenticity extended beyond the exquisite dishes. The service at Shinjuku Ramen was nothing short of exceptional. The staff exuded warmth and knowledge, providing insights into the menu and offering personalized recommendations based on individual preferences. They went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcomed and attended to throughout the dining experience.

I really wanted to like this place. I’m always open to trying any ramen place I haven’t been to, and Shinjuku was next on the list. It’s a small place, and about half full on Friday night when I went, about 10pm after at a show at The Sphere. First, I’ll say that service was very pleasant and friendly, But the food is where it’s lackluster. We ordered shrimp tempura (just what I craved) and got one of the black garlic ramen and one of the signature ramen dishes — the creamy tom yum ramen. The shrimp tempura was fine. The ramen…. both were just so full of oil. About half an inch on the top of the broth was just floating oil. I’m not against greasy food but this…. This ain’t it. It was hard to gauge the real flavor of the black garlic broth because of this oil. The tom yum soup wasn’t quite as greasy but ramen noodles and tom yum just don’t go together, I think. It was worth a shot but naaah. Also, I’m not a fan of these noodles. They lack the chewiness that places like Ramen Sora’s noodles have. They have crepe cakes so we decided to split the matcha crepe cake. This was decent - the matcha sauce was delightful and once we took apart the crepe stake into half and dipped in that size, the dessert was good. I believe it was around $8. Unless you are a huge fan, this one was worth ordering to split between two people. Overall, we have too many good joints in Vegas to go back here but they’re open 24 hours! It’s well past time that Vegas goes back to being 24 hours everywhere so for that, +1!

I would like to start off with the pros, food at Shinjuku Ramen was good — definitely around a four-star level. The flavors were solid and enjoyable.

For the most part all was well, and staff was quick to greet us when we walked in. However, the service kinda brought the experience a bit down. On a quiet Monday night with only a couple other tables, we still had to ask almost three times just for water and lemon. Our order also came out incomplete at first. I guess there was miscommunication going on when we ordered, but the items we wanted were very clear and we only canceled one thing from the order before it was processed. This left only 4 items total that we wanted. Again, I want to stress that getting the order incomplete was not a big deal, it happens to the best of us. But to only have 3 other tables at this time? This seemed a bit off-putting with all things considered.

When it was time to pay, the check took much longer than it should have considering the restaurant wasn’t busy. Yes, at this time, some people walked in, and I do recognize the sound of when online orders come in, but honestly, with three staff members on the floor and still only being three tables, it didn’t quite make sense.

The server did say under her nose “sorry for the wait”, which again I get… they probably have been there for quite some time and at the end of the day on a Monday. But I truly feel there was a lack of attentiveness throughout our experience.

As a fellow server, I sympathize and empathize with the workers, but really, there’s no good excuse for forgetting our table as often as it felt.

We will for sure be back, and hopefully we have a better...

Absolutely incredible. BUT only if you get their signature ramens. YOU HAVE TO GET THEIR TOMYUM RAMEN GUYS. Seriously. It's so good. I originally was hesitant due to the spicy symbol since I'm a total puss that can barely handle spicy foods. A bag of flaming hot cheetoes is spicy for me since it builds up and it hurts after a bit. I was ok with the TomYum ramen spice level. I could taste the spice but it was a delicious taste and did not destroy me.

I originally got one of their other ramens, non signature. I got the black garlic oil with the pork broth. It's good. Loaded with garlic goodness and while I love garlic and I'm a garlic fiend, one taste of my husband's TomYum ramen (pork broth) and I was HOOKED. The flavor is so zesty, bold, and delicious it blew my ramen away. I stole...I mean traded for my Husband's TomYum ramen lol. I'm going to have dreams about this friggin ramen. Yea it's that good. So seriously come here and get this. I'm absolutely coming back. Also they have some spicy shrimp dumplings on their appetizers. Again yummy spice, not destroy me spice. I was able to eat it. That's also super delicious.

Get their desserts also. My fav is the thai crepe cake. I smashed that lol.

So this place is open 24hrs only on Thurs-Sundays. Don't accidentally come here 3am on Tuesday. Although they are still open pretty late on the other days, till like 2am I think. Really nice and cozy place. The employees are all SUPER SWEET and nice. I usually hit Shokku for late night ramen (because I'm weeb trash) but sorry this is where I'm headed for late night ramen a lot more now unless I'm...
