Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Springboro

Wow, what a terrible experience! First, I am only rating this particular restaurant and giving it 3 stars because I have received mixed results in my visits there. Sometimes our visits have been as expected without issue, and then others are very slow....today was the worst however. It started with the useless app and web site ordering. The app would not work no matter what device we used so it will be going bye-bye. My son was finally able to get the we site to work after several tries (maybe this should have been a warning). My wife went to go pick up our order of 14 tenders and 2 large sides with 5 biscuits. Upon her arrival she given part of the order, but was ask to pull into a parking spot just ahead as they finalized the tenders part of the order. After a 20 minute wait she got out of the car and approached the window. The employee saw her coming - quickly looked behind - and then back out to my wife saying...."uh, the tenders are still not ready...we are going to get you some fresh ones" I think this really meant "oh no, we forgot". Another 10 minutes and she finally received the tenders. Since the order was paid online she was hoping for at least an apology or maybe a coupon. NOPE. Nothing, just a thank you as she was handed the bag. By this time the food that she was originally given was now cold. Needless to say, this was not...

Let me say up front that I have eaten and enjoyed Popeye's for many years at many locations. That being said, my expectations were at a reasonable level. My daughter is a regional manager for a major fast food place and she was with me. We went in and had a large order to go, the cashier (I did not get his name, but working at about 3:00PM on Saturday 15 Oct) was pleasant and patient with us as we stumbled through our order. Our order was large and because of us, somewhat complicated. The cashier took it all in stride and let us do our thing. We ordered, then ordered again; he told us that it would take a while because of the specificity of our order. While we waited, daughter noticed cleanliness (top-notch), all employees were engaged, they were well-staffed. Because of the wait, the cashier gave use a small order of chocolate beignets (THEY WERE AMAZING). We watched as the cashier put our order together, and he was meticulous, the order was dead on. My family feasted and we enjoyed everything. To the management of this particular Popeye's please find the young man that served us, he was amazing. I don't know why it's always when I come to this location. I ordered 15 minutes earlier on the app. A Chicken Sandwich and tried. I wanted to try some wings. Only 1 cars in the drive through no cars in the lot...it still took 10min to to get up speaker.

When I get to speak, he tells me then I need to wait.... I wait for another five minutes in which I am at the five minute mark.Asking hello anybody there.

He comes back on with an attitude saying, what's your order? I let him know my mobile order number. He says, go ahead and pull up.

I pull up to the window, he. Tells me yeah, that I have to wait because there is no ghost pepper ranch, so he pulls me over to the side and tells me to park there the car.

II stay waiting there for an additional 10 minutes in total. It took 25 minutes for me to finally say I can no longer wait. I end up calling the store right speaking to him. He said that there's only 2 people working. And they're trying to get their order out. I explained to them that I placed the order. 15 minutes before I arrived, and I'm still having to wait 20 minutes at the store, 20 plus minutes ridiculous, I ended up leaving without my order. I'm sure they're still working...
