Was at the drive thru speaker for 10 minutes trying to use a coupon for this specific store through the mail. Workers had no idea of coupons that have been put out for only this Springboro store in the local mail advertisement, kept having to read the coupon to them and repeat the order. It was slightly funny at first then turned ridiculously sad and frustrating after the first and second time, which was not the last time. Then tried to order a big box meal off the menu, which they tried to tell us did not come with what was listed. Then asked for all white meat, which is listed on KFC's website for $8.99 for this meal, was informed it would be $8.49 + $2 for all white meat. Asked them and the worker said that the website is not thru KFC. We decided we'd wasted enough time and were too hungry for the 20 minutes we wasted when there was no car ahead of us when we arrived. We told them to cancel the order, went to Lee's and were home within 15 minutes with food we were very happy with.
I hope the manager reads this and looks at what is going on there, I've had small issues there, but this time it made me questioning returning...
Read moreI lived in Springboro for over 10 years, and this was and still is the only kfc we will go to. The employees are consistently friendly, fast, and courteous. The food is great. Today I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich combo. The fries were great, the sandwich was average. The service was fast. We ordered, pulled up and paid, and received our order instantly, and off we went. The sandwich has a generously sized piece of chicken, sauce, and two pickle slices. It was ok. It was warm, but obviously 'under the warmer' warm, and served quickly. So, the bag says "fried to order!". No, it clearly is not. Don't over-promise. They're better off not stating that on the bag. A freshly fried sandwich would've been great. Would've been. So that bag creates a sense of dissatisfaction....
Read moreKFC is relatively consistent, and in our area I haven't had a "bad" experience beyond an order mix-up. We stopped at this Springboro location after a quick shopping trip. We have had and enjoyed the chicken sandwiches a few times now, and while I know the breading is the same as the in bone chicken, this is the first time the breading behaved the same as the in bone chicken I have had. It was light and crispy, and the chicken breast was perfect eating temperature and juicy. It wasn't "hot" like burning your mouth, but was really warm (full transparency, I was driving, and I always eat all my French fries first). The downside of driving and eating is that I don't remember my food as well I'm writing a review because I remember this...
