Royal Wok Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Springboro

I was skeptical of the reviews but they are old reviews nothing really recent, never been here. Went in at 6pm walked out 615pm. Very quick very hot very fresh my Sweet and Sour is not over cooked it is perfect, the General Tao’s is not over cooked and the sauce is GREAT. Crab angels were cooked well does not taste like cheap cream cheese or fake cream cheese either. I will in fact return here again it’s now replacing our Chinese restaurant that closed down in Carlisle. 10/10 would go here again! Inside was clean and was dead but that is not always a bad sign yall. Phone was ringing while we were there so orders were happening. Very nice people. Don’t let reviews fool you, people rarely show the good and only the bad. We took a chance and glad we did. Wife loved it since it’s her time of the month to! So that’s a win win!! Also if you say your “fried rice has a wood flavor” that’s not wood flavor yall that’s called FRIED RICE your tasting it frying to almost burning that’s what...

We ordered a late dinner after spending the night with our step dad for his birthday. We were told 40 minute delivery window. We got a call about 30 minutes later saying they were out of something we ordered which was fine. Just said to send without it. Another 20-25 minutes pass and food still hasn't arrived. So we called and asked if it was arriving. The woman who answered said "well it should be. I'm not sure, I'm already home." (They've closed at this point.) So she couldn't even tell us if it was coming. By 10:40 (we ordered a bit before it was 9) we gave up and assumed it wasn't coming. Went and started getting ready for bed. We then receive a phone call about 10:45 and the driver let us know he was on our street. Umm...no thanks. We sent him home. Whoever manages this place really needs to get it together. My assumption is they felt the need to close shop and run our food when they got off and closed up....

Got Mongolian beef and a curry beef dish, both tasted terrible. Beef was drowned, and curry had little to no actual curry to it. Fast service, hot food, nice containers, driver was fantastic... terrible food out of these two dishes that I normally love. As I speak now, the dishes are still in my fridge, sitting, dying alone in misery, with no hope of being ate. I rarely ever complain with food, food is food, even if you did not enjoy it, you eat it and move on to something else next time... but not with this, those two dishes were so terrible, not only can I not eat it... but I won't order there again. I feel as thought my tongue has been violated. If you are planning on buying the Mongolian beef or curry... save yourself the 18 dollar bill and just go get some ramen at walmart. Will taste better, and be a fraction...
