Absolutely horrible experience today! Went inside and used my app to get a free large fry with $1 purchase and ordered, the 2 for $5 original chicken sandwiches, swiped my card and left, a few minutes after leaving I realized I was over charged $5.58, I was charged full price for the sandwiches. I went back, went through the drive thru, explained the situation, the woman (who I was refused to get her name) said “you didn’t order it that way” I explained I did I knew exactly what I asked for and said word for word what I’d asked for. She again says you didn’t say that, I responded with “I’m not a liar, stop saying I’m lying” long pause I then say “hello” she tells me to hold on, holding her headset I could hear a muffled conversation, she comes back, tells me to pull forward. I do so, another lady who was making ice creams and packing orders while I was inside ordering comes to the window, I explained everything once again (which I was later told multiple employees wear headsets herself included, so there was no need for me to explain everything again since she “could hear everything as she claimed) after explaining it to her she says “you didn’t order it like that” again I say yes I did can I just get my money back that I was over charged she says no, I then say ok, the food hasn’t been opened can I just give you the food back and get my entire order refunded, she says no we can’t take orders back. I know that both statements are completely false. I then ask for her mangers info, she refused and said she’s the manger, i ask again and another woman comes to the window Rochelle comes to the window (only person that would give me her name) she tells me once again that I didn’t order it this certain way I again explain that I did, and that only one person took my order no the entire crew so how do they know what I said, she says “I don’t know I just got here” so she just got there but is telling me I didn’t say something I know for a fact I did makes zero sense, I asked her for her bosses info, she says she’s the GM and isn’t giving me that information, I then asked for her name, she gave it, then I asked for the employee who actually took my order she refused, and asked for the other “mangers” name she refused that also. To be called a liar is insane only because I was over charged. So much for customer service, I go there at lease once a week and will never return. Horrible employees and even worse customer service! Read moreUpdate 4/3/23: I've raised the rating to five stars, as this restaurant has been consistently diligent in making great food with a friendly atmosphere! I now go here for lunch at least every two weeks. Latest visit Jan 29th, 2019--I have returned my rating to four stars, as the service and the food have significantly improved! The atmosphere has returned to one of friendliness and service! I am leaving my prior complaint here for now, as the "manager" who was promising to retire is apparently still working there, but is trying to make a change for the better, so I'll withhold further judgement until I see it for myself. 10/20/18 Update: This was a five star rating, but when I took my children in for dinner last week, the so called manager was the grouchiest curmudgeon I've had the misfortune of dealing with in a long time. He took our order, got it all wrong, and never apologized. Just grumbled about how he couldn't wait to retire soon. I'll wait til he's gone to attempt coming back here. Also, there was a disgustingly large population of flies that pestered us as we ate. Nope, it's drifting back to the yuck that it once was. -original review:This is the first time I've been back here since 2015. That last time was awful; high school kids goofing off in the kitchen area, dirty and freezing cold dining room, and subpar food. All of the yuck is gone! ! There has been a much needed makeover of the decor, the service, and the quality of the food! The dining area has been completely renovated, now providing a warm mix of wood and exposed brick, and the temperature was actually comfortable, too! The food and service matches the welcoming experience that the dining room creates. And most importantly to me and my family, NO TELEVISIONS! ! Read moreI asked 3 times for the 2 bacon egg and cheese Croissant sandwiches. They kept saying double bacon? No, thank you I want the 2 for 5.00 again they said double bacon?? No, bacon egg and cheese 2 of them for 5.00. They have me pull up to get fresh. I'm thinking that's great... get my food take half to my grand daughter up the street at her work and go to kroger while waiting I thought I would eat my sandwich while warm... open it up its double bacon, cheese, no egg... so I go back and tell them it's wrong they ask for both sandwiches but I only have 1 so they give me one correct sandwich and I take it to my grand daughter and pick up the wrong one. I go back tell them the story again and a guy from the back came to the window with attitude. I explain to him asked if I was charged for double bacon they want the receipt, I don't have one, because she didn't give one. He states he can't find it because they had many orders today...I asked "in 15 mins?" He took the wrong sandwich and threw it in the trash and got me a correct one but with his attitude I told him to keep it, he needed it worse than I. Horrible...
