My recent visit to Panda Buffet wasn't exactly a Michelin-star experience, but it had its own quirky charm. The "crab" rangoon, while perhaps not bursting with oceanic freshness, offered a delightful little crispy crunch and a comforting, if somewhat enigmatic, creamy filling. Think of it as a savory, slightly adventurous, cream cheese delivery system. The spring rolls, admittedly a bit enthusiastic in their oil absorption, possessed a certain rustic appeal. The mystery filling, while still a delightful enigma, offered a satisfyingly vegetal chewiness. Each bite was like a little surprise package, a culinary "choose your own adventure." And the sweet and sour chicken? Well, the chicken itself achieved a commendable level of nugget-y uniformity, and the sauce, while leaning heavily into the sweet side, provided a nostalgic, almost childlike, sugary embrace. It's the kind of dish that reminds you of simpler times, perhaps enjoyed with a juice box. The real win, however, was the sheer variety! It was like a culinary playground, a vast expanse of possibilities (some more successful than others, admittedly). And the staff were genuinely friendly, bustling around with a cheerful efficiency that was rather endearing. Plus, who can argue with an endless supply of lukewarm noodles? It's a blank canvas of carbohydrate potential! And yes, my fortune cookie still promised good fortune. Maybe it was referring to the sheer volume of food one can consume for a reasonable price. In that regard, Panda Buffet delivers. It's not gourmet, but it's certainly... an experience. A plentiful, slightly chaotic, and ultimately, kind of comforting experience.

Such an above expectations experience! We enjoyed most of the food we tried. The items we didn't enjoy were personal and not a reflection of the restaurant. I have to say that the lo mein was the best I have ever had. Man it was good!! We had the buffet and most times when you have a buffet you receive less than good service at your table but BJ was amazing. She stayed on top of drink refills and was quick to remove plates that were not being used without making us feel rushed. Every time she came to the table she had a bright beautiful smile on her face!! It was so nice to have such wonderful service in a time that customer service is severely lacking in most places. I am handicapped and was having a bad day. My daughter was helping me get around and when we were on our way back to the table one of the wait staff asked me if I needed help. That just blew me away. Everyone working here was so nice and friendly. I am so glad we decided to try this place. It will be a top choice next time we are in the area. Thank you so much!!

This seems to be a popular restaurant during lunch and can see why. Those Chinese red sauced ribs are perfectly made and so are the mild hot wings. Most of the chicken in the stir fry was dark meat which was disappointing but good enough, I just prefer white meat. The egg rolls were crunchy and delicious, I ate 4 of them. I was to scared to try the sushi rolls because they were not on ice. The waitress was very friendly and always had a smile. I can tell the staff takes their jobs seriously, which is a good thing in the restaurant business. Overall I was impressed with my experience here.

We went here for the first time tonight. We were excited to try a new chinese buffet for my birthday. We spent some time reviewing places to eat at based on ratings, and this place had some decent ratings. We pulled up and saw a lot of people in the parking lot and said to each other this looks promising. We went in and were greeted and seated fast. We went to the buffet and were SEVERELY disappointed. There was not a big selection at all. The food was extremely nasty, and the sushi even worse, tasted like the fish water they keep the fish in at the entrance to the restraunt. It was my wife, my son, daughter and myself. We usually eat a ton of food when we go to the buffets, even my son had a hard time finding something to eat, my daughter only had a few pieces of fruit. My wife and i got one plate each and nibbled on a couple of things that we could stomach but we couldnt handle it. We were in and out within 10min and paid $45 for that yuck. We saw a lot of hispanics and other foreign nationals there (not racist im hispanic myself) that probably think this is the best place ever and rate it so. However i eat a lot of chinese and this place is the worst ive had EVER! Hibachi grill in rogers is 100x’s better than this place. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I would suggest looking for other places to enjoy authentic good Chinese cuisine. Please save yourself the hassle. The staff however were very friendly and the establishment...

We stopped in for an easy weeknight dinner, this was our busiest day. I want to start with the good - the staff was friendly and personable, they were kind to kiddos and always had a smile on their face and were ready to help. The buffet itself was clean and tidy, not a mess which is typically a good indicator of good vs bad buffets. Getting into the eh - the food was okay, a lot of things seemed either overcooked or they had been sitting out too long. The not great - as we sat and ate we wondered how much they would charge per person to eat we assumed based on the quality of food max 10-11 per an adult. that was not the case. for two adults and one 5 year old the total came to a whopping $40!!! I understand the cost of supplies is going up right now but the quality should match and the quality was NOT there. We feel our money could be spent better and on better quality food that doesnt give us heart burn 5 minutes after starting the meal for that reason we will probably not return which stinks because we had some high hopes after seeing this place...
