The product itself was fine, except it wasn’t completed on the day it was supposed to be installed, or the next day. In fact, it still hadn’t been completed. The owner told me her team was upset (at me) that the original day had to be rescheduled and she blamed me for that. In reality, what happened is she said her husband didn’t feel comfortable having her team drive out here. So I was flexible with her and them. Then, the next time they were to come out, I made sure the other workers who were here, an electrical team - who was scheduled before they were, knew to stay out of their way, even though they were actually on the schedule first and we were making room for Wendi’s team in the schedule. I didn’t mind making room for them or changing my schedule around to help her, it was the attacking tone that just seemed really unprofessional. Especially after I helped her with marketing for her big show, for free, without her paying me, because she came to me and asked for my help and input.

Still today, the closet isn’t done. The paint and caulking that I sent my assistant across town to have on site that day for her installers was never used. It’s still sitting in the office waiting for them to come back and caulk and paint.

I hire a lot of companies in this area. She seemed really good at first. As of now, I definitely wouldn’t re-hire this company. I think the product is fine. The biggest issue was the disrespectful nature of the owner and how she spoke to me that was not only unnecessary but quite surprising given how much I bent over backward to help her and...

We shopped around with many companies for a comprehensive closet and storage solution at one of our homes. What set Tailored Living NWA apart from the competition was honestly the people who run and work at this company. The owners transitioned from the normal grind of 9-5’s and started this company. They understand the customer and do not push or sell anything you don’t need. They are in the business of solving problems and they do that very well. Wendy is phenomenally receptive to customer needs and she truly listens to understand. Our two installers, Toby and Marshall were some of the nicest and most polite (and skilled) tradesmen we’ve ever met. So pleasant to be around and it just felt like friends over and helping us with a project. To top it all off we needed to squeeze a little more shelving in our master closet and Toby designed a solution on the fly using surplus materials—this was GOLD in our overall experience.
