I have a lot of good things to say, and then just minor critiques that don't necessarily hurt my experience.
Mateo is a very very lovely server. He definitely reinforces the "intimacy" of this restaurant's vibe. If the owner reads this, tell Mateo we really enjoyed our night with him waiting on us! He was polite, caring, gentle and soft-spoken. A beautiful personality to run front of house! HOWEVER it took him a very very long time to check in on how we liked our food, and I was nearly done with my entire course before I got to tell him that my second side never came out of the kitchen.
The food was great! The Mac N Cheese was for sure the star of the show. The portion sizes are WELL worth the cost!! And while I did enjoy the Ribeye - I would have to say it was definitely a little over seasoned. Not unbearable (the flavor was great, I still ate the steak) but it can definitely be toned down just a little bit, because that first bite was definitely a kick to my mouth and then once I had that expectation for thr next bite it was a little easier.
For dessert, the cheesecake was unavailable. But that's because the kitchen was working on adding new desserts, my table had the Strawberry Cornbreads, a Mange & Hazelnut Gelato. I was eating the Hazelnut Gelato and oh...my...god. PUT IT ON THE MENU !!! It was SOOOOO good! If I ever go again I think I would always go back to the Gelato over a cheesecake. Seriously. It was phenomenal and I want the kitchen to know they did a fantastic job on the flavor!
If it wasn't for my second side coming late, and the over abundant seasoning on the ribeye, 5 Stars.
I would still high-key recommend this place to anyone. And to TRY THE HAZELNUT...
   Read moreI walked into this venue yesterday to help a fellow Comedian by bringing my sound equipment for his show. I introduced myself to one of the owners "I think he was an owner", I proceeded to compliment the venue and said, "hey I'm not part of the show tonight, I'm just here for the sound, but I'd love to support your venue, can I please have a menu" 15 minute later I get a menu and ordered food, 20 minutes after that they tell me they don't have what I ordered from THEIR menu. I ask them what my choices are, I order the most expensive item from those choices and 3 hours later, the show ended and I never got ANY food. As I'm wrapping up my equipment, I over hear the owners complaining about money, so I told them they need to start by blaming themselves. If their service is any indication of their business mindset, they're going to lose more than money. I'd never attempt to give them my business again and I highly recommend AVOIDING this place.

My ribs and mac n cheese was above average, but my husband didnât really like his pasta. The server was amazing, forget to ask the ladyâs name. I would go back for more wings. Also, my suggestion would be updated the website and Google because all the information was confusing, we almost give up on going because said needs reservations but it wonât let me book or answer the phone. Menu is different from online as well. Keep in mind that it is a small restaurant like you see people saying in reviews. So busy days you might need a reservation, so check first anyway.
