AFC GRILL (Afghan Halal Kitchen) — Restaurant in Springfield

Found this gem of a place through Google reviews. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The place was immaculate. We only ordered Kabuli Pilau as we had already eaten. The pilau was fresh, delicious and cooked to perfection. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the dishes.

The shop is good. However there are hardly any prices on the items which is a a tad annoying. This should be rectified as it’s very off putting having to ask for each item. If only I was a millionaire I wouldn’t be asking!

There is ample car parking available.

UPDATE: SECOND VISIT No staff to be seen anywhere. We waited for ages. Finally managed to order lamb seekh kebab, Kabuli Pilau and Biryani. The Lamb seekh kebab was inedible. It was not fresh and tasted old. Couldn’t chew it or swallow it. The Biryani was definitely not fresh. It was reheated. Needless to say I HAD TO ‘ASK’ FOR A REFUND for the lamb kebabs, which they gave.

Sorry guys but the inconsistency is not good. Don’t think I’ll be coming back here again. It’s a shame I had to change my 5 star...

I can’t say enough good things about AFC Grill! From the moment I walked in, the hospitality was warm and genuine you really feel welcomed here. I ordered the chicken quesadilla, and it was absolutely amazing! Perfectly fresh, packed with flavor, and the portion size was just right generous without being overwhelming. Every bite had that perfect balance of cheesy goodness and well-seasoned chicken.

It’s rare to find a spot that nails both the food and the atmosphere, but AFC Grill delivers on both. If you’re in Springfield and craving something fresh and delicious, this is definitely the place to go. I’ll absolutely be...

I got the chicken/lamb with rice and it was delicious! Spice profile is spot on. Not to mention the large portion size for the price. The proteins were moist and savory, the rice was cooked perfectly and the halal sauces were so good.

The service was friendly, prompt, and attentive. I felt welcomed and taken care of. Additionally the place was super clean and had scented candles that added to the welcoming feel. The atmosphere here is casual/take out and friendly.

Btw, the bathroom facilities are very clean and well maintained.

I will definitely be coming back! I will try the smoothies and gyro next! They also deliver...
