Unfortunately, I didn’t get pictures . It was an extremely busy night. We were told 45 mins to wait for a table . Took about 50.
Upon being sat. Waitress said . “I’m sorry I don’t have silverware, napkins or straws at the moment , but will have some as soon as they are washed and ready “
Took our drinks. Got 1 wrong (may have been the helper that brought them )
She took appetizers order . Before are drinks were delivered. But got them same time as apps were brought out. Had to ask for straws , and silverware
Chips and salsa , queso and southwest rolls
Chips were extremely salty. Salsa was meh ok . Queso was excellent (until it gets cold ) Southwest rolls were soggy, but still edible .
For entrees . It took approximately 25-35 minutes (maybe longer) to receive the entrees .
Brisket burger - cooked well done - brisket was dry
Quesadilla- chicken . She stated it was good, but had better (I didn’t try it)
Sirloin and salad . Sirloin was ordered medium rare. (Was cooked medium well ) my daughter refuses to complain in person . She ate it . It was dry . Mac n cheese was good . Salad was good . Except the croutons very stale and they couldn’t chew them.
Trio app was ordered as an entree - sliders and mozzarella sticks . Mozzarella sticks , light crispy texture. Gooey stringy cheese . Sauce standard marinara sauce. Sliders were not edible . Both burgers were medium rare . (How they weren’t cooked fully with being such thin patties idk ) didn’t complain to waitress as she was pretty non existent during the meal .
Shrimp Alfredo Cajun. Pasta was cooked al dente, sauce was light and dry . The cook the seasoned this must have dropped the container of Cajun seasoning in the bowl. I like spice but this was way over seasoned
Ribeye and shrimp with garlic mushrooms , broccoli and mashed taters . Ribeye was perfect medium rare . Shrimp over cooked rubber with excess salt and seasoning. Broccoli would’ve been good. Steamed but not mushy . However it was over salted (I love salt and never complain , but I have sores on my tongue from the salt. ) mashed potato loaded . They didn’t look the best. But tasted decent . Tad bit dry for me. But I still enjoyed them .
Also got 2 cups of loaded soup. Thin based soup with chunks of potatoes. Topped with bacon n cheese . Decent but not homemade tasting .
I get it was extremely busy . Had to ask for drinks 2 x , had to ask for silverware, straws and napkins . Plus had to ask for salt&pepper they are not on the table .
They did refill our chips 1x without asking. That was nice. As it was or seemed like a long time waiting for our food.
Staff was pleasant . Food was mediocre....
Read moreWe arrived around 12:30pm and were sat immediately. Place was busy, but not packed. We ordered almost immediately and received our appetizers in a timely manner, which was expected because it was only chips and salsa. By the time that the building really started filling up, our section was completely full. We were appreciative of our waitress Jessica, as she seemed to have her hands quite full. As time started to go on, our drinks were low and our table hadn’t been visited in about half an hour, then she brought us drinks. After about 45 minutes of waiting for our food, we had noticed the people around us (who were sat 30 minutes after we were) had their food, and we still did not. Waitress told us that the kitchen was slow today, and our food would be out shortly. Another 30 or so minutes went by and we were ready to leave. After another 15 minutes of waiting, and several unfilled drinks, we were nearly ready to walk out of the door when our food arrived. My boyfriend ordered a breaded chicken sandwich and the sandwich looked like it had literally been stepped on. The bread was smashed and overall looked unappetizing. He only ate the chicken from it and had a hard time even wanting to do that. The two others in our party ordered chicken tenders, and they said those were fine. I ordered the triple dipper with buffalo wings, southwest egg rolls, and the sliders. My food was cold, the burgers were dried out, and the chicken wings were the hardest things that I have ever bitten into in my life. After an hour and a half of waiting for food, I would’ve expected the food to at least be somewhat warm. The best part is, in the middle of our lunch, a child was THROWING UP in a booth behind us after he ate. After the wait we were met with no apologies whatsoever, and paid the bill and left. Shortly after we arrived back to our apartment, my boyfriend also threw up his lukewarm, smashed chicken sandwich. All in all, I appreciate our waitress Jessica for her efforts during a busy time. The kitchen staff however, should have been working on getting orders out in a timely manner instead of smoking outside in the back, where we saw them stationed at when we left. Would give 0...
Read moreHORRIBLE experience. I am from California, and our Chili's restaurants are always amazing. I guess not in Missouri. Other parties who had been waiting for only 5 minutes were seated before us (we waited 25). It took forever for anyone to even approach our table and greet us. Their water has tons of chlorine - it had white particles in it which is a tell tale sign. It was a 30 min wait to get our food (a simple burger, and a salad). The people sitting behind us were given a free meal for their wait, but they knew one of the staff members personally. We told our server we were disappointed with our food & about our wait - then one of the female managers came over and basically laughed at us and informed us we would get nothing taken off of our bill. She said we only waited 17 minutes (which, is still inexcusable!), and that she could prove it because of our ticket. I know that our waitress did not put our order into the computer for about 10 minutes after she took it, so the ticket actually confirmed what happened. The people sitting across from us even agreed we waited roughly 30 minutes. We tried to enjoy the meal, but the female manager kept coming over to our table to tell us things like, "I bet the food is really good and worth the wait," "Everything is going great for you two?", etc. Our waitress disappeared and refused to wait on us again, except to deliver the ticket and make excuses for herself by blaming the kitchen staff. On our way out of the restaurant, one of the staff members told us not to come back. Once we got home for the evening, I realized something was stolen out of my purse ... not sure it happened here, but it's a definite possibility. We were forced to pay $20 for a lukewarm burger, skimpy salad, and soggy french fries, not to mention endure the bullying behavior of the staff, and potentially someone stealing from me. Rest assured Chilis, we will NOT be back! Complaining to the corporate office, totally...
