Crumbl — Restaurant in Springfield

My niece has wanted to try crumble for a while, so I stopped to pick her up some cookies since I was in the area. She is highly allergic to cinnamon, I had no clue how to order but figured it out or so I thought I did. I Added a note that I needed the cookies with cinnamon packaged separately from any of the other cookies. They come to the counter with my boxes of cookies and the cookies with cinnamon are in the same box as the rest of the cookies. I stated that I needed the cinnamon cookies packaged separately per the note I added when I purchased due to allergy to cinnamon and the little girl working stated " well that's just a note and we don't pay attention to those and if you want them packaged separately then you will have to purchase all the cookies separately" to which i stated "umm excuse me, I will have to buy them again?" To which she stated "yes!" I took my cookies and left. At least one of the boxes has cookies my niece can try. This is an allergy issue and if someone puts a "note" on an order I would think they were suppose to pay attention to said note 🤷‍♀️. Highly upsetting and maybe someone should be at the counter to assist a person in case they have a question and are unaware that they don't pay attention to the notes. Just...

Im not really sure why the quality was lacking today but these pink doughnut cookies were not it on the Northside crumbl. Ive been coming here since the opening, but its been about 2 ish months since my last visit since the southside opened. And tonight I came and was given my cookies and when I pointed out could I get the 2 with less icing changed out for ones with more icing, it felt like she didnt even change them. I hate being nit picky, but qaulity wise these cookies look over a day old and the icing isnt there or sunk in. I got home and my kids threw a fit because they dont look like the photos and 1 has tons of icing 2 have none. So 2 kids were upset since thats the ones they wanted. I should have just exchanged them for different cookies all together to avoid a fight because they were not that great. Im doing 3 stars because prior visits werent bad, but I have come here before and had over cooked cookies. Its a coin toss....

My dad came in and got cookies early this week so this review is on his behalf. The cookies were delicious! Dad brought home a 6 pack and they were all so good and warm and soft. The oreo marshmallow one was the best. They were all beautiful too. The cashier, Hailey dad thinks, was very patient and walked him through all the flavors and then the ordering process. I'd like to note Hailey told him the woman icing his cookies was the best decorator in town, and she has to be right because they looked so good! I wish we took a photo before cutting them. My dad is older and runs a bit slower these days so I worry about how he's treated but I'm so thankful you guys took such care. He said all you girls were so nice and patient and friendly.
