Dennis' Place — Restaurant in Springfield

Love this place! I've been going here since covid hit..seemed like a good open area to still visit. They've recently got rid of alot of tables and added pool tables!! Yes ,you read it right! Pool tables! Billiards was shut down for awhile and there was no place big to okay at really. Dennis place stepped up and added several tables .this making them the biggest pool hall ,bar and grill in town. Now that covid is not a thing , several places have opened back up allowing more competition. They still hold a steady business every time we go in. So they must be doing something right 😉 I walk in and see people I know . This is always a great feeling. Memories being made and people enjoying their day is the best way to enjoy life anyway. So stop by when you find them on your Google's! The hospitality is off the charts. Oh..wait..did I mention it's right across the street from bass pro?? Yeah right around the corner from Campbell there on sunshine! Catch a drink before or after shopping in the crowd. Enjoy!! And happy googling! You never know what you might...

Dennis’ is a dive that only exists bc there’s nothing to give it competition. It is old & rundown that smells funny inside & it’s always hot on bar side. If you ask for them to turn AC down a little they act like you’re inconveniencing them & pretend to turn down, but never gets any cooler.

& lord help you if you have to go to the bathroom!! THEY ARE DISGUSTING!!! (womens) & I’m told guys is even worse. I have been in there morning, afternoon & evening & always gross.

The bartenders need some lessons in customer service. They sit on their phones or w their feet up on the coolers talking to friends or regulars. Never get asked if I would like a 2nd drink or anything else & drinks are very light pour.

Diamond pool tables would be really nice if felt & balls were cleaned & taken care of.

Also, everyone smokes around front door so you have to go thru that nasty to even get in.

Beware if a great pool hall...

I'll Pass!! The female bar staff are not friendly!! I came to see a friend perform there and waited almost 15 min, at the bar, for a drink. The ladies...just kept giving me ugly looks. They never spoke and never asked what I wanted to drink...as I was waiting at the bar. I eventually walked away and just watched my friend perform. I'm black......Not sure what the issue was, but my money is all green!! Not the friendliest place for "Ethnic" people!! Take note and spend elsewhere! Minimal parking...The front door staff was nice. They should have a chat with bar staff. I was happy to support my friends band, while patronizing a local business! I took my money and ran! Never been so insulted!
