UPDATE: Can't order through Uber either. I asked the driver to make sure my food was remade as it had been sitting at the restaurant for 30mins+ since the first driver took a joy ride and then canceled. The second driver implied that the restaurant refused to remake, which I believe since they spent several mins at the store before leaving with my OLD and COLD food. After spending nearly $100 on an order, I expect much better. The restaurant can expect a visit from the health department. You do NOT serve people cold, old, stale, and soggy food. You will never have my business again. Absolutely disgusting and beyond disappointing.
I am leaving this review not against the restaurant but against them using GrubHub. Every order from any other provider has been fine; however, GrubHub allowed our order to sit with the driver in a parking lot for a good while before it was delivered. The bag was torn open (as Happy China staples it). The provided forks were contaminated with food. The containers had less food than usual, and you could clearly see what food was eaten based on the amount in each container. This is a threat to people's health and wellbeing. Do NOT use GrubHub and do not eat at Happy China until they revoke GrubHub as a delivery partner. $80 flushed down the toilet for some a-hole to eat on the job. GROSS. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to the driver who ate for free and the restaurant that clearly...
Read moreI was very excited to try this place because I happen to notice that their wonton soup had roasted pork wontons. I’ve only ever seen that in St.Louis and it is my favourite soup of all time. I ordered crab Rangoon, soup, shrimp fried rice, and a chef special. Crab rangoon was spot on taste just like the ones in StL. My mom seemed to enjoy the rice. The chef’s special was ok. It said spicy brown sauce but there was no spice and I didn’t get any lobster. Unfortunately when I tried the soup (what I was most excited to try) there was no flavor to the broth. It was yellow but also like someone forgot to add salt. It was so strange. The dumplings were great. This is the closest to St.louis Chinese food I’ve come across since I’ve moved down here and I would probably...
Read moreSo my bestie swears by this place and he was in the mood for Chinese and he took me there yesterday. And when I asked the lady running a counter what kind of shrimp dishes that she served she said shrimp curry. I asked her to repeat herself twice and make sure I understood her correctly. Yes, folks I said shrimp curry. It was amazing. Never would I have thought I could get shrimp curry from a gas station that would make me so happy. We went in there at lunch time and for two people spent $26 on meals and drinks and I personally made three meals out of the serving that I got. And it was fantastic. 10 out of 10 stars highly recommend if you like curry and you like shrimp this is the spot. I was surprised but it...
