( food born illness) So we went there with our short friend yesterday who has severe allergy an food restrictions. Our server was very sweet. However they took very long with all of our food. An the price an quality was concerning to me. I ordered a steak saled. The steak was dry and rubbery, the saled was wilted an brown. An not quite slimy but definitely funky! My husband got a Sharma wrap. An it was pretty weak on ingredients for the price. He wasn't unhappy with the meat in his. My stomach felt off all night which I am assuming was the saled ingredients. The croutons were over fried an greasy. The dressing was pretty unremarkable on mine. We're not quite sure if the Tazki sauce was traditional or just made wrong....
Now my poor friend has had a gastric bypass. The server thought she ordered with us but she was separate. They had problems taking her larger bills. An were rude about it. She wanted a kids meal. But the manager who served her. Told her she didn't look like she just had a gastric bypass. She also has sever allergies to onion. An they were informed of this. Ither they got some in her food or something wasn't cooked right with her Sharma plate. She was up all night throwing up. Fyi
Fyi I used to work in restaurants for years. So I AM hoping they read this an train all their staff better. An you never tell a CUSTOMER they don't look like a health procedure they had. You have no idea what part of their journey they are on. An its extremely hurtful! Just as it is to not be cautious about food prep an food borne illness.
We will not be returning However I do pray you work on this an your business learns...
Read moreFirst time in my life writing a review, but never experienced something like this!! We found this place and were so excited to find local shawarma, and we were especially excited for the crepes. We came at about 6pm on a Sunday, they were open till 9pm- they were out of ALL the desserts, except the ice cream. I ordered 1 chicken shawarma with a side of fries, a drink, and the only dessert was a baklava ice cream. When they brought out the shawarma I immediately pointed out that the fries are missing, they went to check my order, and I also came up to tell them I was missing my drink cup, they gave me the cup and continued looking at my order and trying to tell me that I could not have ordered a side of fries, and I repeated that I selected a side of fries, only to later tell me that they are OUT OF FRIES!!! And they also added that they refunded the ice cream because they were actually out of baklava ASWELL!! So I went to fill up my drink cup, tried the cream soda, it poured straight water, tried the next, one same thing, finally the dr.pepper looked like Dr Pepper, but after a sip I realized it was only about 30% dr.pepper mixed with water, the shawarma was not anything I would come back for either, but wouldn’t say it’s terrible. I hate to write a bad review especially for small businesses, but my experience was so bad, and not once did I hear an apology although I was very nice about it all. Absolutely no customer service!!! Very sad that this did not end up being a we will return to, but the exact opposite. Gently hope they will see some of these reviews and make...
Read moreThis place was strangly awful.
We ordered the hummus appetizer and gyros.
The "gyros" took 20 minutes. The meat was a chopped up meat patty with the consistency of spam. I choked down most of mine, but my dining companion just couldn't bring themselves to eat it. I never thought I'd say this, but Arby's makes a better gyro.
When asked about the appetizer, they had no idea. When I went to the counter to ask the status of the appetizer a second time, one of the employees took out a tub of hummus to start making it.
I told them don't bother. I told them to give me a refund for the appetizer. They never brought the refund.
I had to directly ask them, again, for the refund. They informed me they wouldn't be giving me a refund because they didn't have any $1 bills in the register. 🙄 I seemed they expected us to just leave and let them keep our money for nothing. (We solved their problem for them using basic math.)
The place looks mostly clean. The equipment in there is very loud. The employee refused to speak up despite being asked to do so several times. There was a large amount of water on the floor, like somebody dumped gallons of water, in and near the bathrooms. Tiles were slick and dangerous. (A different employee cleaned it up best they could after being informed. Still no safety signs put out for the wet floor.)
The whole experience was disappointing, bizarre, slow, and kinda gross.
We definitely will never go back.
Oh! And their "gyro" has a strange after-taste...
