I expected it to be busy with it being Super Bowl Sunday. Not a big deal. As soon as I walked up to the door there was a bunch of people standing in front of the host stand all the way out the building. I was finally able to bypass those crowding the entryway and got to the host stand. Told the hostess that I had a group of 4, and didnāt have a to go order. She told me āthe to go line ends back thereā and asked me wait in line. Again I told her I was here for dine in, not a to go order. We were seated and it took a waitress about 20 minutes to get my drink order. At that time there were a few tables occupied, but there was definitely less than 5 occupied tables. Still no big deal, I expected it to be a wait. Well we decided to wait a little bit to order our wings and I ordered some macaroni and cheese. About half an hour later we put in our order for our wings. Waitress asked if there was anything else she could get us. Since it had been about 30 minutes since I ordered macaroni and cheese, I just said āno just the macaroni we ordered earlierā just in case it had gotten lost somewhere in the craziness of to go orders. Our waitress then copped an attitude with me and pointed to the big line of to go orders and said, āYeah I put the order in but as you can see we are pretty backed up on orders. We have 11,000 wings that we have ordered right now so we will get to it when we canā. I looked past it, whatever. We all have rough days. Fast forward to getting our wings almost an hour after ordering them. When they came the different types of wings werenāt labeled with the stickers. The sticker was on the paper, but we had ordered different levels of heat for our wings, and they all looked the same, and we didnāt know which was which. Fine. We can taste them and find out, but my husband canāt handle spicy foods at all so we got the flavors figured out. At about 515 waitress then tells my husband that theyāre brewing sweet tea and she will bring him a glass once itās finished. We start eating our wings and they were edible, but barely. They were hard, overcooked, very dry, and there was so little sauce on them that there was no point in even having the sauce. I was extremely disappointed because not only did I pay $11 for mediocre buffalo Mac and cheese that took an hour to get to me, but I also paid $23 for flavorless, rock hard wings. So I had now invested nearly $35 on food that was not worth it. We stayed because we wanted to watch the game. I also had a friend with me that was ordering drinks from the bar. After a couple drinks she was obviously drunk. Waitress kept offering her drinks. Okay, cool. But I was her ride home and she was nearly throwing up already and I didnāt want her throwing up in the car on the hour drive home, so when the waitress asked her if she wanted another drink my husband tried to explain to her that she had had quite a few and probably should not have anymore. Our waitress then squinted at my husband and told him āI think she can make her own decisions, huhā. Excuse me lady? Is she going to be throwing up in YOUR brand new car? NO. Our waitress had an attitude problem and STILL hadnāt brought my husband his sweet tea by half time. He asked for another one again, which again resulted in attitude from our waitress. This place was just extremely disorganized, ill prepared for a busy day, and we received service that was definitely service we wonāt forget, but clearly not in a good way. I wish they had shut this location down and not the one in Branson. The Branson location was much more organized, I never received bad service, or had angry waitresses/waiters, and my food came out promptly and correct. This Buffalo Wild Wings was just a disaster and Iāll be following up with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe ate here tonight for a little date night and our server Kay decided we were the greatest inconvenience ever. She would not listen, she wouldnāt even wait for us to finish talking before leaving. We ordered some spicy wings and some basic lemon pepper wings, we wanted the sauced wings as I didnāt even notice there was a dry rub option. But sure enough since I didnāt specify if I wanted dry rub or sauce she just assumed āsince most people that order lemon pepper get dry rubā then thatās what I get instead of just taking a sec to clarify with us what we wanted. I just ask for a lemon pepper sauce to dip in but while Iām in the middle of saying it sheās literally walking away, I try to yell sauce and she turns and says yeah. She comes back with a little sauce container spilling over with lemon pepper seasoning, like what am I supposed to do with that? We clarify we wanted to sauce and she gets it. When the wings came out the lemon pepper and the spicy ones were together causing a few lemon pepper wings to get spicy sauce all over them, I didnāt mind fully I can just try and wipe of as much as I can and just loose a few wings to the spicy. But if people are getting two drastically different flavors it might be nice to separate them. We started eating and then remembered that our onion rings never came out, so we asked her for them and she gave a puzzled look and said yea. Cool, but when they come out they are the soggiest onion rings Iāve ever seen. Whatever Iāll take them home and air fry them to make them crispy. Once we finished our food we asked for some boxes and while we are trying to ask for some to go sauces sheās already walking away again! So we ask for lemon pepper sauce and she says we have to pay extra for that, we try to explain that we wanted sauced wings to begin with and she starts to argue with us that we didnāt say we wanted sauce. We didnāt say if we wanted sauces or dry rub! Why are you assuming what people want? This is one of the absolute worst servers Iāve ever had, why are you so impatient? Can you not sit still for a minute to just listen?? You spend enough time walking around with that white rose trying to figure out where to put it. Extremely unprofessional and Iām very disappointed in this establishment...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām absolutely appalled by the behavior of the manager, Michelle, at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Springfield, MO. On Sunday, my mother went in to get a receipt from a visit the previous Friday, and was treated horribly. Michelle not only refused to provide the receipt, but also made my mother prove her identity and justify why she needed it. Michelle then escalated the situation by shouting at my mother, following her to the door, and making rude assumptions about why she needed the receipt. This treatment was completely unacceptable.
I have a strong background in hospitality and restaurant management, and I can say with certainty that this kind of behavior is unprofessional and inappropriate. After hearing about this, I called corporate, who confirmed my mother was entitled to the receipt and that Michelleās behavior was out of line. I went to the restaurant to address the situation directly.
When we arrived, Michelle rolled her eyes and asked what we needed. I asked if she was the manager who had treated my mother so poorly, and she admitted she was. I told her I had spoken to corporate, who confirmed my mother was entitled to the receipt. Instead of offering a solution, Michelle raised her voice and argued that she couldnāt provide an itemized receipt, even though corporate had said otherwise. When I pushed back on this, she accused us of harassment and threatened to call the police.
The whole situation was absolutely ridiculous. The police arrived, spoke with Michelle, and ended up laughing at how absurd it all was. They also told us Michelle refused to cooperate and even requested to trespass us, which was laughable because we had no intention of returning to a place where the staff behaves this way.
Michelleās actions were unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely unnecessary. Thereās no reason anyone should be treated like this over something as simple as a receipt. I strongly suggest that Buffalo Wild Wings address this issue and take a serious look at Michelleās conduct before she has the chance to treat another customer in such a...
