Yesterday was the first time I've ever eaten at a Jersey Mike's. I stopped in at the Glenstone location, I took some time reading the menu, and was greeted with a nice "Welcome to Jersey Mike's". The staff was very friendly and asked if they could answer any questions for me. The young man that made my sandwich was extremely professional and even recommended a few options. I got a giant club, grabbed a mountain dew, and some chips, and then went to pay. My card declined and I figured it was just my chip so I asked him to run it again. And again, it declined, I said well this can't be happening I know I have money in my account. Now the line is starting to build up, people are behind me waiting to pay and I check my phone and realized my truck payment had been Auto withdrawn so I didn't have as much money in my account as I thought. The staff was very generous, and understanding, they help me out and I got my sandwich which I thoroughly enjoyed but even more so because of their professionalism and their kindness. I will now be a regular at Jersey Mike's. Not to mention the sandwich was REALLY GREAT, and I'm only sorry that I hadn't eaten at a Jersey Mike's, sooner in my life. Today I will be going back in not only to get a sandwich but to leave a very generous tip. With all the negativity going on in the world it was nice to see their professionalism and kindness. I figured letting somebody know that their staff did a fantastic job and I hope that the staff get some kind of recognition. Well done!! And Thank...
Read moreSo I ordered on the app. I got there while they were still cooking my sandwich so I watched them make it.
I paid for extra meat which was an extra $5.50. I also asked for heavy mayo and salt and pepper.
They put very little mayonnaise on the sandwich and did not put salt and pepper on it. But more importantly they did not put extra meat on the sandwich.
When I told the girl that I had asked for the extras she got an attitude because she had to unwrap the sandwich and add the mayo and salt and pepper.
I then questioned the extra meat that I paid for and another girl wanted to argue with me about it.
I seen with my own eyes that the extra meat didn’t get added.
I paid $28.00 for a sandwich that was not prepared as requested and I got cheated $5.50 because they didn’t give me what I paid for.
That’s theft and seems to be popular for restaurants these days.
They have lost the right to ever have my business again and deserve to go out of business.
The Customer is always right.
I did not pay for awful service and rude attitudes.
If they can’t do better than this they need to close the doors and not...
Read moreOrdered a #6 and #9 on gluten free bread. Picked them up for carry out. Both sandwiches were inedible due to the bread being very stale…like cardboard. Called and spoke with the manager who was on duty at 1:30pm on Saturday, 29 October. He explained that it is a special process and special ovens required for baking gluten free bread. Hence, the bread is brought in and not baked on-site. He went on to explain he sometimes he gets batches of stale gluten-free bread and has to serve it to his customers, because, you know, it is the vendors fault he has to serve stale bread. Finally, the manager told me I should call the bread company to complain. Obviously, as the manager, he has no responsibility to his customers, no responsibility to correct a known issue, and could care less about the quality of the product. Of note, it is the ingredients and not special processes and ovens. Plenty of articles on line about how to bake gluten free in your own home without special...
