I am absolutely furious with the appalling service I received from McDonald's through Uber Eats. This experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I’m beyond livid at how I’ve been treated.
To start, my original order was canceled because the location was closed. Fine, that’s frustrating, but understandable. However, when I tried again and placed a second order, things only got worse. The order was taking forever, and the estimated delivery time kept getting delayed. I was patient at first, but as time passed, I became more and more frustrated. After waiting for what felt like an eternity, I had no choice but to cancel the order myself. Why? Because McDonald's failed to deliver in any reasonable time frame, and I couldn’t afford to keep waiting.
But the worst part? I got charged $6.99 for absolutely nothing! I used a credit for this order, thinking I was at least going to get my meal, but instead, my credit is now gone, and I’ve received absolutely nothing in return. The fact that I got charged for an order that was never delivered is outrageous and completely unacceptable.
McDonald's, this is beyond poor service. You’ve completely wasted my time, taken my money, and left me with absolutely nothing. The lack of communication, the ridiculous delays, and now the fact that I lost my credit, all while I get charged for nothing, is absolutely infuriating. How is it that a major company like McDonald's can’t even manage something as simple as an online order?
I’ve been a loyal customer for years, but after this utter disaster, I will NEVER be ordering from McDonald’s through Uber Eats again. You have completely lost my trust. Read moreAlways disorganized. Order was taken for egg McMuffin meal with extra egg McMuffin. Was not given drink cup after paying. I understand waiting for a breakfast sandwich in mid-afternoon, butnit being told I would have to wait additional time because a worker forgot to out on the hash brown timely. I was told it would be another minute after my sandwiches were already bagged. (I was dining in.) I told the manager to give my the sandwiches and my drink cup and that the hash brown could be brought to me. I got me soda and sat down to eat.
When the hadh brown was done, the girl bagged it, came to the counter and yelled "hash browns". I waived my hand, and said loudly back, "right here" and pointed to my table. The girl turned and said she d"have to take that xxxx" and that "he can come get his own hadh browns." After a couple of minutes, she yelled hash browns again. I conversed with her across the store that she needed to deliver the hash browns since she had failed to put them in timely and so we're not ready when my sandwiches were. She then told me directly that she would not deliver the hash browns and that I had to walk across the store to get them myself.
The senior citizen lady who works the front was on break. She is always pleasant and would not have been so very ride ad this girl was. On a previous trip I had waited ten minutes for an egg McMuffin when a manager had to raise his voice to the cooking crew to get items completed. They had goofed off at least one full minute or more while orders were coming in.
I think I would rather go without or drive a few miles to another store than ever go back to the store in South...
Read moreI ordered from the app 10 min before I arrived. After waiting 15 min inside the girl asked the kitchen about my sandwich, he handed it to her and she sent it out the drive through. When I asked if she just did that and she got very rude towards me, she proceeds to the counter to order another sandwich for me. By now it's been over 20 minutes since I ordered. I hear her and the Fri cooks spew several racist slurs at me and proclaimed how they hate what white people do. Now after nearly 30 minutes I get my bag. Sandwich only. Grrr. So I politely ask for the fries that came with the meal. Again rude racist remarks. I got my fries..... but no cup. So I ask for a cup. She angrily proceeds to the cup dispenser and starts jerking cups out all over the place. I got my cup with no remark. Yay. So I get to the job site expecting everything to be fine since I just did her job for her. I opened my sandwich and it had a gallon of mayo on it that wasn't supposed to be on it in the first place. I couldn't even eat it. It was all over the place. I realized that everyone should be able to have a job but if you can't handle McDonald's and keep your racist comments to yourself you shouldn't be working with the public. I am not discriminating here every person in the store acted the same way. Even the very very rude manager. I will never patronize this location ever again. For the record it seems like nearly every single time I come here they get it wrong. I believe every single person including the manager at the store on south grand in Springfield Illinois should be fired...
