Obviously this location has some management issues and needs to restaff the current management. I decided after a long day of driving that some good old McDonald's sounded good. I later end up regretting this, after making a SIMPLE order, that wasnt simple enough to make i guess. I ordered 2 Cheeseburgers, ONLY extra cheese and light ketchup. Now anyone who has worked in the fast food business as a line cook, knows that this type of order is always preferred due to less work needed upon preparation. Ever heard the term "work smarter and not harder"? Well that was not the case here. I get both sandwiches with NO extra cheese (which is something extra paid for), pickles, onions, ketchup and mustard. Unfortunately I didn't end up finding this out until 37 minutes later, when we got home and distributed the food around the kids. So I call the location immediately and see how we could fix this. I didnt get this managers name but she was a woman, VERY RESPECTFUL, VERY UNDERSTANDING, and I informed her that I was in the area and could stop by to get a remake. She had me come on by and I picked up the order through drive through. Now i didn't think I would've had to check the bag when it was handed to me a second time after letting the issue be known. But to my amazement, i got home only to find once again the wrong thing. This time it has the light ketchup, but only one slice of cheese still. It is at this point i feel I literally paid more for something that i wasnt even served properly, not once but twice. Exhausted from my day and night, I decided to just try contacting a general manager the next morning. This morning I called and asked to speak to the general manager or a manager on duty, and a young man by the name of Zach, informed me that the general manager was "actually out for the day" and that he wasnt sure when he would arrive again. He then proceeded to ensure that he was a manager that could probably take care of my issue. I would later find that this in fact was the LEAST of his intentions. As i proceed to explain all of the above to him, he makes a smart remark along the lines of "You couldn't have just eaten it"? I was appalled when i heard the "MANAGER" just ask me such a question. I then replied, "No sir i most definitely couldn't JUST EAT IT because its JUST not what I PAID for or WANTED." Deciding to not even waste my time or energy speaking with an individual that obviously only wanted to make my MCDONALD'S EXPERIENCE as a whole HORRIBLE, I then asked him how would I get in touch with corporate. He obviously didn't like that I asked a legitimate within bounds question, as he then responded with an attitude and rude as ever, "We dont have a corporate because we are franchise owned!" I then ask "well sir who is your superior and whom do you answer to", his response..."I dont have a superior and I dont answer to ANYONE!" Appalled ONCE AGAIN, remembering that upon the start of the call I was informed that the GENERAL MANAGER was out for the day, (meaning there obviously is someone that is his superior,) I ask him again who is in charge of the store and ZACH HUNG UP ON ME. I called back, and asked once again who the owner was and he FINALLY gave me a name "Mike McGrawth" (hopefully im spelling correctly). Long story short I as a customer should NEVER have experienced what i have just by being a loyal customer to the WRONG...
Read moreTried giving y'all a 1 Star. Couldn't bring myself to it. It felt like I was looking Old Yeller in the eyes when I was supposed to be putting her down out back. I friggin' love ya. You usually do me right! SO RIGHT! But man, this morning? That was no beuno, mi McAmors. It was actually bad to a comical degree. Kinda made my day in a very non-breakfast-sandwich kind of way, to be honest.
Hell of it is, when I busted in like a dick to figure out where the online order I'd placed well before leaving home was in the process and why this location was going to make me late for work, almost everyone behind the counter was doing their best for us pissy customers. We're talking well-staffed AND busting ass.
The kink in the hose? I heard your mumbles, Mister Manager. I watched you for minutes, losing your shit, missing those callouts, doing the exact opposite of motivating and inspiring confidence. Leadership roles aren't for everyone, and it's okay if it's not your cup of tea. I'm still a fan, no matter what you do. But man, that wasn't management in action.
Also, that last round of sausage patties y'all had ready for the McMuffins? I'm pretty confident those were hamburger patties. Might want to check your inventory before the lunch...
Read moreI was on a bus trip headed back home. The driver stopped at a Wendy's close by. Many of us went in, but they were short on help and thus slower than molasses. One of the employees may have been homeless or something similar. His car was in the parking lot of Wendy's with what looked like two large pit bulls. They were barking/growling at everyone. The employee came out of Wendy's and petted the dogs and went back inside the restaurant. Just a turnoff for me. I then went to the nearby Taco Bell and they had no one at the counter to wait on customers. This I trotted on over to good old reliable McDonalds. The establishment was very clean and fresh. I was waited on right away and my food was brought out to my table just after I sat down. Super fast service and fresh tasty food. The manager was very calm and patient with the employees that were evidently new and made mistakes....
