Schultz & Dooley’s — Restaurant in Springfield

We went there after church with, what was eventually, a group of 15 people. There were no other customers in the restaurant. When our party grew, we moved a table to the end, as no one was there to assist us. We were then told that we would need to move the tables back because there were going to be poker tables, again no one assisted us. Then we were told by another person that we would need to move the tables forward a bit because they may need to seat a table behind us. After counting kids, we realized we would need another table. We waited for someone to assist, after the back and forth, because of the precise placement of the tables required. We were, after some time, yelled at from across the room (she was at the bar) that we could add another table, but we needed to make sure there was room for the poker tables. Again, did not help us move the tables. We finally sat down, where given menus, but drink orders were not taken. After 10-15 mins, she took our drink orders. I was told there were no kids cups even though there was a kid's menu. After another 15 mins our orders were taken. When the food did arrive, my fries were cold and my wrap was so/so. The food quality didn't make up for the poor service. If it was up to me, I would have left with the table fiasco, but it was a combo of families. It is the MOST unwelcome, I have felt at a restaurant. The vibe I got was, we are going to have an adult poker game, and your families are really an inconvenience, and if we are unaccommodating enough, perhaps you will leave...

A very bad dining experience. We wrote the manager/owner and nothing was done. We went there to eat with friends from Kansas City and it took nearly two hours to get our meal. Two other tables of people just left because the server would not help them. Our server was the bartender and she spent most of the time flirting with the older guys at the bar and giving them drinks than taking care of us. We just wanted to eat with our friends and then go see movie, but it took so long and we even had to go get to the back for our check.We had to ask about our meal and the guy in the kitchen said he had been there since he was 6 years old and the only people working there were him and the bartender. The service was horrible ! No drink refills ,our meals were set on the table - overcook and no one there seemed to care at all, no service at all. The message I got back from the manager or owner was that he would gladly eat dinner with us and discuss our problem. This was by far the worst dining experience in the last anytime. We have 2 kids ( hard to get a babysitter ) and just wanted a place to eat with people from Kansas City then go see the movie. We are done with...

My friends and I thought it’d be fun to go to a karaoke bar to celebrate our friends 21st birthday. It was fun at first, then after about 3 songs the manager rudely told us we could only perform one more song for the night because she claimed we were “obnoxious and intoxicated “, which was not the case at all. Half of us were sober and the other half only had 2 drinks. As our birthday friend was getting ready for her next song with another regular at this bar, the manager rudely told us we had to leave because we were “running her customers out”. We were not bothering anybody and we had been respectful to others and our surroundings the whole time we were there. The manager claimed we cursed her out, but we were all quiet and respectful while she was rude and very passive aggressive , and actually almost begging for us to cause a scene, saying things like “you can cuss me out if you want to”.
